Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor are the most stylish BFFs in Bollywood, and the two adore each other. Sometime back, Sara and Janhvi visited Kedarnath Temple together and set the bar for best friends really high. The duo's pictures were all over the internet, and their fans were hailing their bond. However, it seems that all is not well between Sara and Janhvi, and netizens are wondering if the two are still best friends.
On August 28, 2023, Sara Ali Khan shared a picture of some books on her Instagram Stories, which included The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind, Shiva Sutras, India Since Independence, and The Forty Rules Of Love. The Gaslight actress added a sticker atop the picture, which said:
"Read more books."

However, it was the presence of one book titled, Auschwitz - A History, that grabbed many eyeballs. Sharing a screengrab of Sara's story on Reddit, a netizen pointed out that Sara actually took a sly dig at Janhvi Kapoor with her IG post. The netizen shared Sara's IG Story on the discussion portal with a caption, that can be read as:
"Was this a sly dig at Janhvi."
Soon after the post was shared on Reddit, a user commented, "That would be too obvious not only to J but to everyone as well. It'll ruin the PR image they built of being close friends who don't compete". Meanwhile, another user wrote, "Maybe something happened within their close circles. Janhvi may have made a mean remark on Sara and it got back to her and she is retaliating?" Yet another comment can be read as "Aren't they BFFs who went skinny dipping in a fountain at Kedarnath?"

For the unversed, Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in the film, Bawaal, which was called 'insensitive' and 'tone-deaf' for its references to Adolf Hitler and the Holocaust. Moreover, Janhvi received huge flak for one of the dialogues of her character in the film, as she said, "Every relationship has its Auschwitz". Despite the criticism, the Roohi actress has time and again defended Bawaal and got trolled for her insensitive remarks.
