Ever since, the 23-year-old actress is making headlines with her every appearance, thanks to her paparazzi friends who never miss a chance to record their favourite star. On February 23, 2019, Sara was spotted making her way into the weekend with her brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan. Many videos and pictures surfaced on the internet, wherein, Sara was seen in a casual ensemble enjoying her cycling ride. Take a look at Sara’s casual outing with her brother:
For those who don’t know, Sara is a product of a broken home, her parents, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh parted ways when their 13-year-long marriage started falling apart. However, the ugly divorce only made the family more strong and gave them a new perspective of a modern family. Sara even expressed in an interview that it was good her parents took the decision. She had said, “It is not nice to live in a home where people are not happy. They are both, happy, bindaas and cool people, but individually. Together, they are not. And I think they too realized that. Fortunately, now I have two happy and secure homes to myself instead of one.” (Also Read: Janhvi Kapoor Shared An Emotional Note For Her Late Mother Sridevi On Her First Death Anniversary)
Saif and Amrita got separated in the year 2004, and 8 years later, Saif found love in Bollywood’s fashionista, Kareena Kapoor and they soon got married. In an interview, Sara talked about how it all shaped them and turned herself into a better human being. She had said, “I was more than okay with that arrangement. I think having two happy parents in different homes is much more preferable than two unhappy parents in the same home. I think I am the way that I am because my mother didn't let me feel any kind deprivation for even a second. I have a very hands-on mother. Once my brother and I were born, she did nothing but look after us.”
The family has come a long way since Sara’s parent’s ugly divorce that made headlines in the 90s. Sara had talked about the bond she shares with her father, Saif, and had said, “My father was always a phone call away for both of us. I've never felt he was not there for me. In many ways, I am glad my parents were not together. I know they would have never been happy together. And if they were not happy, I would not have been happy.”
In another interview with SpotboyE, Sara had also talked about her weight issue before entering the industry. She had stated, “I was 96 kg at the time when I told my mother, sitting on the bed crying and saying, ‘Mom, all I want to do is become an actor.’ Then, she said that you need to lose weight. And, it took me about a year-and-half to lose that weight. So, I completed the remaining two years of my graduation in a year so that I can return and start working early. I was always a chubby girl, but after going to the States, for the first two years, I put on a lot of weight and then last year, I burned all those kilos there itself.”

She further stated, “Jahaan aapko pizza milta hain, wahin aapko protein milta hain. Jahaan pe chocolate milta hain, wahin aapko salad milta hain (On one hand you could eat a pizza and on the other you could have protein, on one hand you could get chocolate and on the other you could eat salad). That was it. So, I lost all the weight that I had gained there and lots more by working out and maintaining a disciplined life.” (Don't Miss: Shilpa Shetty's Husband Raj Kundra Shares The First Picture From Sister Reena Kundra's Wedding)
