One of the most talented actors of her generation, Sara Ali Khan, has made a name for herself in Bollywood courtesy of her terrific acting chops and gorgeous looks. She has a huge fan base and often makes it to the headlines. And now, in a recent interaction in a podcast, Sara opened up on her breakup that affected her life, making the year 2020 the worst ever for her.
During a recent podcast conversation with eminent YouTuber, Ranveer Allahbadia, Sara Ali Khan opened up on the year 2020. She mentioned how it had been the worst year ever for her career and her personal life. Highlighting how her breakup with ex-beau, Kartik Aaryan kickstarted her misfortune for the year, she mentioned:
“2020 just got progressively worse. It started with a breakup and kept getting worse. It was a very bad year and most of it is on the internet.”

B-Town celebs are always on the verge of getting trolled for the most trifle of a reason, and Sara has been no alien to such kind of behaviour. Opening up further on the same podcast interview, the Love Aaj Kal 2 actress revealed how she did not get bothered much with all the trolling and criticism she faced that year since she personally was in a bad space as well. In her words:
“Sometimes, when you know you deserve the trolling or when something is really bad, the fact that it is on the internet is so incidental and so trivial compared to the fact that it happened, that it doesn’t really matter. If you’re heartbroken, miserable, exhausted, scared, nervous, kya farak padta hai 20 logg padd rahe hain, khud apne andar jwalamukhi ho raha hai.”
The year 2020 also brought a downfall in Sara's career, as she had to face the brunt of an unfortunate failure of her film at the box office. Considering how two of her back-to-back films, Simmba and Kedarnath, were massively successful as compared to her much-anticipated film, Love Aaj Kal 2, failing at the box office, Sara mentioned:
“After Kedarnath and Simmba, I was put on a pedestal that I wasn’t sure I deserved. After Love Aaj Kal, I was dragged down brutally.”

A few days back, we stumbled upon a startling glimpse of Sara Ali Khan as she got papped at the airport. The diva looked gorgeous in a white-hued embroidered kurta set teamed with a pink dupatta. However, while the actress was joyfully posing for photographs along with a few of her young fans, she was rudely trolled by a passer-by uncle who asked the paparazzi not to waste their time clicking her picture.
