Sara Ali Khan is one of the most beautiful actresses of her generation, who has been proving her acting mettle with all of her subsequent projects. For the unversed, she made her Bollywood debut with the film, Kedarnath, opposite late Sushant Singh Rajput. In her recent interview with Vogue India, Sara Ali Khan opened up about various tenets of her life, from her career, personal life, choices, family and more. During the same, she spoke about how audience has been looking forward towards celebrities who are more authentic and reachable, especially when they appear outside the celluloid. Speaking along the same lines, Sara then mentioned that she prefers to wear her honesty over any designer clothing, and added that she does not own a single piece of designer wear in her wardrobe. “Whether it’s going to the airport with freshly washed hair and not doing my hair and make-up unless it’s absolutely necessary, I really am who I amI wear my honesty with more pride than any designer clothes. In fact, I don’t have a single pair of designer clothing in my wardrobe.”

Well, it seems Sara’s views about her lifestyle choices have garnered an altogether different reaction from the netizens, who feel that she is lying and being pretentious. As soon as Sara’s interview went live, a user started a thread about the same on the discussion platform, Reddit. The post, which read as ‘The way Sara tries to be relatable is embarrassing’ generated a lot of comments and criticisms against the actress. While one user commented ‘As if she’s not a literal princess. I don’t understand the need to be relatable’, another netizen wrote, ‘Claiming she doesn’t have a single designer dress in her wardrobe is exaggerated’.

In the same interview, Sara Ali Khan tackled the question of being frequently trolled for her choices in her personal life. For the unversed, she has been a constant target of trolls due to her frequent visits at revered Hindu worship places, while she belongs to a different faith. To this, Sara reacted that she does not seek validation from anything external. Moreover, she emphasised that she is ready to accept criticisms about her work, but at the same time, she does not care if there’s any criticism over her personal choices in life.

Sara became the cover girl for the August issue of Vogue India magazine and stunned in different gorgeous outfits. For one of her looks for the same, Sara looked beautiful in a green-hued satin saree, which was draped innovatively covering her head as well as working as a blouse. However, Sara’s vintage-inspired look faced massive backlash from the netizens, who felt that the diva looked expressionless, and even called her pose a mimic of the Filmfare trophy.
