Evergreen beauty, Sharmila Tagore had tied the knot with the legend of Indian cricket, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, in 1969. She is a proud mother of three wonderful children, Saif Ali Khan, Saba Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan, and a doting grandmother of five adorable grandchildren, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Taimur Ali Khan, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu and Jehangir Ali Khan. Sara is the daughter of Saif Ali Khan and his ex-wife, Amrita Singh. Though the duo had separated in 2004, Sara shares a warm bond with her father's family.

Sara Ali Khan is such a person who leaves no stone unturned in nurturing all of her relations. On December 8, 2021, Sharmila had turned 77, and her granddaughter, Sara Ali Khan, had penned a heartmelting wish for her. She had taken to her IG handle and had shared beautiful pictures with her Badi Amma, Sharmila. Along with it, she had written:

A few moments back, Sara Ali Khan took to her IG stories and shared a collage of two throwback pictures with her grandmother, Sharmila Tagore. In the collage, the first picture was from Sara's childhood, wherein she can be seen donning a comfy cotton dress which she had paired with two ponytails and looked super cute. She was sitting on Sharmila's lap, who was hugging her from behind. And the following picture was from Sharmila's 76th birthday bash, where Sara was seen hugging her badi amma from behind, as they both looked super gorgeous. Along with the collage, Sara wrote a beautiful caption, which can be read as:

"From holding me to holding you. Love you Badi Amma."

Sara shares a beautiful relationship with her father's family, despite the separation of her parents, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh. In the same interview, Sara had also talked about seeing her grandmom, Sharmila, on the silver screen. She had said:

"If I watch ‘Aradhana’, and ‘Mere Sapno ki Rani’, I’m like, Oh my God, that's my dadi! Like, are you serious? Because she's just superb, you know, she's a star. I think she's the first star in my opinion. So sometimes it's almost confusing for me, like, really that lady is my grandmother! You know, it's weird. It is very strange. But, I mean, she's amazing. And I'm very lucky to have her in my life."

Similarly, Sharmila Tagore is also a doting dadi for her granddaughter. In an interview with SpotboyE, Sharmila Tagore had spoken about how impressed and proud she is of her granddaughter, Sara Ali Khan. Revealing the moments when she had felt proud of Sara, Sharmila had said:

“I am very impressed by her… though I don’t see why her self confidence should surprise me. But whether it was Koffee With Karan, Rajeev Masand, BBC…her confidence humility and charm made me so happy… it’s so heartwarming to see her the way she has turned out. When asked what she’s doing in films after going to Columbia University she said the education was for her growth as a person and not for career. She’s never tongue-tied. And how well she stood up for her father on Karan Johar’s show I am really proud of her.”

We are in love with Sara and Sharmila's pictures. What about you?
