A daughter always looks up to her father for career guidance, moral support and he is always her king. No matter wherever she goes, she will always be proud of her dad and will always reach out to him for support. A father is an ordinary man, who turns into a superhero for his kids whenever they are in trouble. No matter how busy he gets in his life, he will always be available for his kids in the time of need. The bond between a daughter and a father is blissful and she makes him a softer person from within. It is always a proud moment for a father to see his kids following his footsteps, but what is more extraordinary for him is his daughter following his footsteps. And Saif Ali Khan is proud of his lovely daughter, Sara Ali Khan, who from her debut movie has made a mark in the hearts of viewers. Sara Ali Khan, who is the daughter of Nawab of Pataudi, Saif Ali Khan and his first wife, Amrita Singh had made her Bollywood debut with the movie, Kedarnath in 2018. Ever since her first movie, she has been receiving a lot of critical acclaim and applause from her fans and followers. And this moment has made her dad, Saif proud of her and in various interviews, he has confessed that he is proud that Sara is making a mark in the hearts of people through her talent. Two movies old, and the third one to be released, Sara has already worked with the A-listers and will soon be seen with Varun Dhawan in Coolie No. 1 and with Akshay Kumar and Dhanush in Atrangi Re. If a father has a daughter like Sara, then he will have various opportunities to be proud of.

Saif Ali Khan has worked in the movie, Love Aaj Kal which was directed by Imtiaz Ali and now his daughter, Sara Ali Khan will be seen in the sequel of the movie with the same title. When the trailer of the movie was released, Saif had confessed that he had liked his movie’s trailer more and now in an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Sara had replied on the same. Sara was quoted as saying, “We are all protective and possessive about our work. I am proud that my father too, is as proud of his creations as mine.” She was quizzed about the fact that her film, Love Aaj Kal opens in exactly two weeks’ time after her father’s film. Sara added that she understands the pressure and privilege she gets after coming from a family of actors, “I come from a family of actors and where’s there’s a privilege, there’s pressure too and where’s there’s pressure there’s also fun.”
During the same interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Sara Ali Khan talked about Ibrahim Ali khan making his Bollywood debut. She had revealed, “There is a huge gap between dreams and reality. He is a good actor, but he is also good at sports. Right now, he has to complete his education; it’s non-negotiable. Born in the family of actor, Sara Ali Khan was asked about accompanying her father, Saif Ali Khan on the sets of Love Aaj Kal. To which, she retorted, “I went for a day, in London, but don’t tell them. Well, it was like dad’s shooting in London, let’s drop by. He is in Chennai, let’s join him for some idlies.” She further talked about listening to her mother's advice of being away from the film industry and said, “When you are 11-12, it’s okay to tag along with your parents, but when you are 17-18, you shouldn’t be in a place where you don’t belong.”

In an earlier interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Saif Ali Khan had talked about his daughter, Sara Ali Khan featuring in the sequel of his movie, Love Aaj Kal and had said that it is a great achievement for her but he doesn’t know how to feel about it. He had shared that even he could have acted in the sequel as he just did the remix of his song, Ole Ole for his movie, Jawaani Jaaneman. He had also wished his daughter luck and had concluded on the note that time is flying fast.
In a throwback interview with the Mid-Day, Sara Ali Khan had shared that her father, Saif Ali Khan doesn’t discuss films with her and had said, “He looks at me like I'm a traitor for discussing films. He lives with Kareena [Kapoor], is a brother to Soha, and is an actor's son. So, now, if I discuss work, he's like, 'Please don't do this to me.' So, we don't talk about films often. We talk about history, argue about what Hitler's motivations were, or who was wrong in the Cold War. Sometimes, we discuss religion and how different beliefs and social systems came about.
