The untimely demise of Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput has left us all in shock and its almost more than a month, yet the news of his death is the prime focus of media headlines. Since his untimely death, tons of his fans and some renowned Bollywood celebrities have raised their voices for a CBI enquiry. Amidst it all, Sushant's fans had to wait for almost two years to see his last film, Dil Bechara that has finally released on July 24, 2020, and is out for the audiences on Disney+Hotstar. Everyone is showering love for the late actor's last film for the last time and joining them is his Kedarnath co-star, Sara Ali Khan. On July 24, 2020, Bollywood actress, Sara Ali Khan took to her Instagram handle and posted two pictures of her father, Saif Ali Khan with the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput. The picture was taken when both the actors were shooting in Paris for their film, Dil Bechara. In the picture, we can also spot actress, Sanjana Sanghavi and the film's director, Mukesh Chhabra. Well, along with the pictures, Sara Ali Khan wrote an emotional note for her Kedarnath co-star, Sushant Singh Rajput. The actress revealed the last thing she found common between him and her father, Saif Ali Khan and it can be read as "The only two gentlemen that have spoken to me about Sartre, Van Gogh, telescopes and constellations, guitars, The Northern Lights, cricket, Pink Floyd, Nusrat Saab and acting techniques. Sara had hit the silver screen with her commendable performance in her debut movie, Kedarnath, opposite, the late Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput. Their chemistry in the film was spot on and soon after the film, rumours about Sara dating Sushant had started doing rounds. On January 21, 2019, Sushant had celebrated his 33rd birthday and Sara, who was in Dehradun with her mother, Amrita Singh, had cut her trip short to be with the birthday boy.

According to a source quoted by India Today, "She dropped by his apartment at night with a cake, and they went on for dinner together after that. Sushant then dropped Sara home, and they snuck in some quality time together." On the other hand, a source close to Sara had once rubbished all the rumours of the two dating and was quoted as saying, “There is nothing true in these reports, Sushant is only her close friend and they both always stay in touch. However, as per a report by a famous online portal, SpotboyE, a source had shared, "Sara and Sushant were very fond of each other, maybe it was too good that it won't last. The fights were only minor disagreements in the past, and one felt that they would beat the low tide, but of late, their differences acquired loud overtones. Things finally came to a sorry pass when they suddenly stopped talking to each other. Who knows, they might kiss and make up--- but for now, it is not good. And, neither of the two is even trying to take the first step and mend the broken bridge." But soon, Sara Ali Khan's name had started linking with her Love Aaj Kal co-star, Kartik Aaryan. While Sushant Singh Rajput's relationship rumours with Rhea Chakraborty were riding high, and soon, Sushant-Sara had become a distant memory.
