In an interview with Deccan Chronicle, Sara Ali Khan was asked whether her mother, Amrita, would ever share the same screen space as her in the movies, as they had done a television commercial a few months back. To this, the actress' reply left us baffled. She mentioned that her 'mom', Amrita Singh wouldn't like to work with her. Sara said:
"If there is a hair of mine on my face while the shot is on, she might say 'Cut' and try to put my hair straight. I have this visual of her wanting to make me look the best, as I am her daughter. I don't think I want to put her in such a situation."
In an old interview with ETimes, Sara Ali Khan was asked about whether she would ever leave her mom, and be a rebel. To this, the young grounded actress had replied that she would never leave her mom. In her words:
"Not at all. I'll even get married to someone who can move in and live with my mom. I'm never going to leave her. Jokes apart, my mother is a very liberal woman. She is my third eye in everyday life. She is the sound of reason, so, no, I'm never running away."

In an old interview with the IANS, the actress had shared that how her mother, Amrita, comes to her rescue whenever she feels low, and it's her to whom she turns to when she needs some advice. She had said:
“There are days when I don't feel positive. It's normal. That is the part and parcel of life but I think I have a great mother and I think she is the solution to all my problems. With a mother like that it is impossible to be any less than positive. I think she has gone through so much more than I have in her life and if she can walk the way she does with her head held as high as she does as her daughter, then I would be worthy of your compliment.”
On the work front, Sara Ali will be next seen in the film, Atrangi Re, with Dhanush and Akshay Kumar.
