Sara Ali Khan is among the most sought-after actresses in the Hindi entertainment industry. She debuted as an actress in 2018 with the blockbuster film, Kedarnath opposite late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput. Sara gained overnight success for her actorial stint in Kedarnath and also for her bold personality and funny persona. However, a few years down the line, Sara witnessed a drop in her career graph after some of her films tanked at the box office. Talking about the same in one of her recent interviews with Bollywoodlife, Sara shared how people's behaviour towards her changed after her failures.
In an interview with Bollywoodlife, Sara Ali Khan talked about her upcoming film, Ae Watan Mere Watan and revealed that she wants all of her films to do well but, at the same time, is now a little accustomed to failures. Sara revealed that when she debuted in the industry in 2018, she received a lot of love from people and the media, but after a few years, when some of her films didn't work out at the box office, the same people who used to treat her, highly dropped her at an instant.

Sara explained that earlier, the people who used to invite her to parties were now okay with her not attending events. All of their changed behaviour hurt, but at the same time, she is trying to get accustomed to it, as success and failures are a part of life. Talking about people's changed behaviour, Sara added:
"I remember what 2018 felt like, I felt like I am at the top of the world. I have never seen a love like that before, and then I was brought down like this! Overnight, people used to treat me differently at the dinnertable. From like 'Sara you have to come, to haa ayegi to chalega' it became that"

In the same interview, Sara was asked if she feels secure as an actress when compared to her contemporaries like Janhvi Kapoor. Sara replied that she believes that everyone has their own destiny and that there is a place for everyone in the world. The problem only arises when you try to be somebody you are not, as everyone is unique in their own craft. She knows that no one is like her, and she brings something different to the table.
