Sara Ali Khan, daughter of Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan, is no longer just a star kid. She has created her own niche and enjoys a huge fan following. We all know how Sara was bitten by the acting bug at a mere age of four and all she could think of was making her dream alive. But the journey to the world of glam and glitz wasn't an easy one! Sara had to lose a lot of kilos to fit in the criteria of a Bollywood heroine. The actress has often shared snippets of her journey!
On April 10, 2020, Sara took to her Instagram handle and shared a collage of her throwback picture and her current photograph. In both pictures, Sara was striking a similar pose and we loved how drastically the actress has changed over the years. Alongside it, Sara wrote, "Something’s never change... literally! Throwback to smaller Sara(in some ways) - same pose, same expression, same sajana dhajana same conviction p.s I know I look like a creepy kid that could justify fright but kindly ignore the devilish expression and look beyond at my consistent continuity #flashbackfriday #freakyfriday." Take a look at it below:
Coming back to Sara's weight loss journey, in an interview with the Vogue, she had talked about her dramatic weight loss. She had revealed, “For me, it all started in New York. I weighed 96kg and had a year to go before I graduated. The transition from pizza to salad and from lethargy to cardio is how I kickstarted my fitness journey. I simply started eating healthy and began working out when in New York.” (Also Read: Dulquer Salman Turned Into A Princess For Baby Girl, Maryam, Flaunts His Painted Nails And Tattoo)
She had further added, “There were so many different types of classes in that city, from functional training to boxing to cycling. But because I was so overweight at the start, it was more about cardio-heavy workouts like walking, cycling and hitting the treadmill—so that I could lose the weight before entering the intermediate forms of exercise. A combination of functional training, Pilates, boxing and cardio. I like to change things up, but ensure that I work out for an hour and a half every single day—except on Sunday, because that’s my day to chill.” (Don't Miss: Kareena Kapoor Leaves A 'Gorgeous' Comment On Kunal Kemmu's 'Two Halves Of Heart', Soha And Inaaya)
