Sara Ali Khan has always been honest about her personal life revelations, especially her weight loss transformation. However, Sara's weight loss journey has time and again, also influenced many of her fans and followers. For the unversed, the Kedarnath actress went from 96 kgs to 55 kgs, for which she had to lose a huge amount of weight despite battling with PCOD. However, she could successfully turn from a chubby kid to a fashion diva by giving up on junk foods and sweets and opting for a rigorous fitness regime.
Now, Sara Ali Khan took to her IG handle on November 7, 2023, and shared a collage of three pictures of herself. In the first picture, Sara was seen seated on a green-hued mat inside her gym while showing her gained belly fat, and the below two pictures were from her very recent events, wherein she was seen flaunting her hourglass figure. Along with it, she also penned an unmissable note, and mentioned how much she is proud of herself due to her fitness journey. Sara's note can be read as:

"Honestly felt very uncomfortable to upload this top image- but I'm really proud that I got it together in 2 weeks. Weight issues have always be a struggle for me, so really thank you @dr.siddhant,bhargawa and @food.darzee for keeping me on track. Bye bye Holiday calories but most importantly peace out with the guilt. Fitness is a journey. So just keep going."

Earlier, in an interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Sara opened up about her weight loss journey and how her mom, Amrita Singh motivated her for the same. She mentioned that Amrita's words were extremely inspiring as she didn't body-shame her. Sara also revealed how her mother made her understand that to be an actor, she needs to lose weight. Sara said her mother told her, "Behen Tun Tun ka zamana gaya", and for the sake of becoming an actor, she had to slim down but in a healthier way.

At a youth summit in 2021, Sara spoke about her physical transformation and how she had once questioned herself if she could do it or not. Sara narrated that when she went to the gym for the first time, she did three crunches with a weighted ball in her hand, but she could not do more since she was heavy and not fit. That was the time, she took the challenge and each day, she used to increase one more crunch to her routine and revealed that even that morning, she did a lot of abs exercises.
