Sara Ali Khan is one of the much-loved actresses in the Hindi film industry. Tagged as the paps' favourite, Sara knows how to win the hearts of her fans with her gorgeousness, wit, and humour. It was back in March 2024 when several Bollywood actors joined the first pre-wedding soiree of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Now, Sara Ali Khan talked about the experience of gracing the lavish three-day-long event. She also shared how the Ambanis are in real life and how she is acquainted with the groom-to-be, Anant Ambani.
In an interview with Mid-Day, Sara Ali Khan was asked about her experience of being a part of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's first pre-wedding soiree in Jamnagar. For the unversed, Anant and Radhika's first pre-wedding bash was graced by the famous faces of the tech, music, and filmy world, and it was nothing less than a royal affair. Talking about the same, the actress jokingly added that they would eat gold with roti, and there were diamonds for everyone. Sara can be quoted as saying:
"They would serve gold. Like with our roti we would eat gold. And there were diamonds everywhere.”

Going further in the interview, Sara Ali Khan revealed that the first pre-wedding soiree of Anant and Radhika, which she attended, was a warm, lovely, and hospitable event. She added that she had gone to school with the groom-to-be, Anant, and had known Radhika growing up. Sara also stated that Nita Ambani was the chairperson of Dhirubhai Ambani School, where she studied, and all of them were very welcoming and warm. Sara said:
"It was a very nice, warm, lovely and hospitable event. I have gone to school with Anant, I have known Radhika growing up. I think the entire Ambani family, Nita ma’am who was my chairperson at Dhirubai Ambani school. They are so warm and welcoming.”
In the same interview, Sara Ali Khan was asked about the most magical moments at Anant and Radhika's Jamnagar bash. The actress revealed that it was the moment Anant and Radhika looked at one another after signing the papers, and their eyes were filled with love, which was magical. She also recalled witnessing Nita Ambani's eyes being filled with mamta, while she was performing at the Hastakshar ceremony of Anant and Radhika. For the unversed, Nita had dedicated her powerful performance to her granddaughters, Aadiya and Veda. Sara said how Nita Ambani nailed her performance and didn't even miss a beat while performing. In Sara's words:
"It was definitely a lot of fun that was why I am telling you about specific moment, because it is the most human moment. Everybody looked at it as this extra-ordinary thing, reviewing what every actor is wearing, ‘Oh god everyone is performing’, but there were these real moments, when Nita ma’am did her Bharatnatyam performance for Anant, where she didn’t miss a single beat and she had so much grace, but she also had so much mamta in her eyes during the performance. It’s moments like that which stand out.”

In the same interview, Sara Ali Khan shared that she was staying at a place called Green Retreat, and there was a Subko coffee, and she was having a lot of coffee. The actress also added that she was eating less as she needed to look good for the promotions and events scheduled after the soiree.
