Bollywood actress, Sara Ali Khan is loved for her friendly nature and extreme dedication towards her family. Even after living separately with her mother, Amrita Singh and brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Sara never misses a chance to spend time with her father's family. Amongst all, she has a beautiful bond with her grandmother, Sharmila Tagore and glimpses of the same are often found on her social media handles. Once again, as Sara shared a picture with her gorgeous badi amma, it simply spoke volumes about their love for each other.
Taking to her IG handle on February 26, 2023, Sara Ali Khan shared a stunning picture with her dadi, Sharmila Tagore and they radiated nothing but pure love. In the picture, while the veteran actress looked evergreen in a chiffon saree paired with a matching blue-toned blouse and minimal accessories. She looked simply ethereal in her natural makeup. On the other hand, Sara stunned in a white-and-blue printed kurta paired with a white shawl. Sara too flaunted her natural makeup and together they looked mesmerising.

Sharing the picture, Sara once again expressed her love and gratitude for her grandmother. She called the veteran actress her "Sapno ki Rani." and mentioned that Sharmila is her most stunning granny.
On December 8, 2022, Sharmila turned 78, and to make the day even more special, her granddaughter, Sara had shared beautiful pictures of the duo. Taking to her IG stories, Sara shared a picture collage of the two of them. In the first picture, Sara was seen holding a hanky in her mouth while Sharmila Tagore was looking outside the frame. In the following picture, Sara and Sharmila were seen posing together, and they looked super elegant together. Atop it, Sara thanked Sharmila for being the entire family's pillar of support. Sara also mentioned how she truly aspires to be a woman like her badi amma.

Sara is indeed taking forward the legacy of her grandmom. For instance, earlier, in an old interview on a live show on Roposo, Sara was asked about her thoughts on playing her grandmother, Sharmila Tagore's role in a biopic. To this, Sara immediately answered that the veteran actress is the epitome of grace. Thus, Sara doesn't think she has it in her to portray her grandmother that vividly.
