Talking about her personal life, Jyothsna had tied the marital knot with television director, Nitesh Singh on June 2, 2015, in Banaras, after dating each other for almost a year. For instance, on Valentine's Day, i.e, February 14, 2021, Jyothsna Channdola had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a romantic lip-lock and a monochrome picture with her husband, Nitesh Singh. On March 1, 2021, Sasural Simar Ka fame, Jyothsna Channdola took to her Instagram handle and shared an adorable picture with her husband, Nitesh Singh, as she announced that the madly-in-love couple is pregnant and are expecting their first child. The super-delighted pregnant actress can be seen flaunting her baby bump in the picture, as she hugged her husband with her eyes closed. The beautiful picture melted the hearts of their millions of fans in split seconds as it's what completing major couple milestones is all about. Along with the cutesy picture, Jyothsna penned down a lovely note in which she opened up about her feelings and experiences she's going through at the moment. The actress started her note with an exciting announcement, and it can be read as "Yessssss we guys are pregnant @its.niteshsingh we are super excited for this new journey of life... New phase is giving me strength, and as I always say I can feel you (papa) yes my papa coming to me." Take a look:
Going further in her note, Jyothsna Channdola also highlighted the fact that the last year, 2020, was nothing less than a nightmare for her whole family as her late father had passed away after being diagnosed with brain cancer. She wrote, "It was a roller coaster ride for us since 2019 ..when my papa@was diagnosed with gbm grade 4 brain cancer @56age... but now we all are better and doing fine and I'm sure strength papa hi de rahe hain…" Jyothsna added that the news of her pregnancy has made their whole family happy and has eased their pain a little bit. She concluded, "This is giving me strength and I know it will be wonderful journey already I can feel it... So guys yessss this is waht I wanna share today ..we are pregnant my @joni_baby06." The actress also shared her post on her Instagram stories and wrote, "Love" followed by a red heart emoticon atop the picture and soon, her husband, Nitesh reshared it on his IG stories. In an interview with the ETimes, Jyothsna Channdola revealed that now she's doing absolutely fine, but last year, she had gone into depression and had undergone some serious medication after her father's demise. She said, "I feel better and stronger, but the void left behind by my dad remains. That phase has taught me that we have to fight our own battles. My family helped me sail through, and the difficult time also made me realise who my true friends were. I am fortunate to have a husband like Nitesh." The actress also stated that she's quite sure that it is her father, who is giving her strength from the heaven during her pregnancy phase. She said, "I also feel ki papa hi mujhe saari strength de rahe hain. I have started sharing positive videos on social media and working out at home. I have also turned producer."
