Veteran actor-director, Satish Kaushik's untimely demise has sent shockwaves across the film industry. For the unversed, the late actor passed away in the wee hours of the morning on March 9, 2023. Satish reportedly suffered a heart attack while travelling in a car in Delhi. However, now, while scrolling through his IG handle, we stumbled upon Satish Kaushik's last happy picture from his latest Holi celebration.
A day before his death, i.e. March 8, 2023, Satish Kaushik shared some fun-filled glimpses from the Holi party hosted by Javed Akhtar and his wife, Shabana Azmi, at their home in Mumbai. Taking to his Instagram handle, the late actor dropped a series of pictures as he celebrated the occasion with his industry friends. In the glimpses, Satish Kaushik was seen posing with Mahima Chaudhry, Javed Akhtar, and newlyweds, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha.

In the pictures, Satish Kaushik was seen smiling as he posed for the lens being his happy self. The late actor was dressed in an orange-coloured T-shirt and white pants for the celebration. Alongside the pictures, he also penned a beautiful note to wish his fans on the special occasion of Holi. His note can be read as:
"Colourful Happy Fun Holi party at Janki Kutir Juhu by @jaduakhtar @babaazmi @azmishabana18 @tanviazmiofficial.. met the newlywed beautiful couple @alifazal9 @therichachadha @mahimachaudhry1 wishing Happy Holi to everyone."
In an interview with IndiaToday, Mahima Chaudhry remembered the late actor, Satish Kaushik and recalled her last meeting with him. Sharing the memories of the Holi party with Satish Kaushik on March 7, 2023, Mahima said:

"We had such a hearty laugh that day. He was so jovial. He told me 'Take care of yourself, Mahima. You are looking good.' He said our kids are small right now, and we also have to take care of them. Had I known this was the last time meeting him, I would have given him a bigger hug while leaving."

Born on April 13, 1956, Satish Kaushik was an actor, director, producer and screenwriter. He studied at the prestigious National School of Drama and the Film and Television Institute of India. Over the years, he went on to act in many hit films, including Mr India, Deewana Mastana, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, and Udta Punjab, among others. He also proved his direction skills in movies like Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain and Tere Naam. He was last seen in the film, Chhatriwali, in 2023 alongside Rakul Preet Singh and Sumeet Vyas, among others.
