Happiness goes to another level when a couple gets the news of embracing the next big step of their lives and that is parenthood. No matter how famous you are, no matter how wealthy you are, and no matter how busy you are, parenthood is such a blissful phase in anyone’s life that everything seems small in front of it. Exactly this happened when Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! fame, Saumya Tandon had embraced motherhood early this year.
For the ones who don’t know, Saumya Tandon is married to Saurabh Devendra Singh and the couple was blessed with a baby boy, Miraan Tandon Singh, on January 14, 2019. Ever since, she has been spending her time with the little one and giving the best she could just like any other mother. But this didn’t stop her from resuming work as Saumya had recently made her comeback on Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! In a heart-to-heart conversation with the Bombay Times, Saumya Tandon had opened up about embracing motherhood and how she is striking a perfect balance between her personal and professional lives. When asked about how she manages her personal and professional life, she was quoted as saying, “I wouldn't say it is easy, but I won't say it is extremely tough. I have a small baby to take care of. I am not left out with any spare time after I enter my house after the completion of my shoot. And my duty is not over, my motherly duty takes over.”
She further added, “So, it is quite hectic. I have to take care of my baby because he wakes up in the night as well. And I am able to manage it because of the support I got from my family. My mother is at home, so she takes care of everything. And, I feel satisfied and relieved. Also, on the set, I have a great unit to work with. A great husband who supports me every time. So, I am a bit lucky in this case.” (Also Read: Neha Dhupia Shares A Funny Meme On Her Daughter Mehr Dhupia And We Feel Exactly The Same)
When asked how her family had reacted when she decided to get back to work again, Saumya remarked, “I had to resume work because I am a career-oriented woman. I wouldn't have stopped working because I became a mother. But yes, resuming work was only possible because of the unit, the producer I am so comfortable working with. They have created a comfortable environment that I am able to resume shooting so early. I was shooting for two months near my house, so May and June I shot around my house. I was carrying the baby with me for two months, all this was possible because I was shooting with my old-gang and the producers were extremely understanding.”

When asked how she feels after coming back to work, she retorted, “Well, it's been around eight months and I have joined in May. I took a small break but yes, I took that break because I delivered a baby. So, I had no time to think about anything else in life because such a big incident has happened in my life. But coming back, was very overwhelming because I was returning to 'Bhabhiji' which is also my extended family. Everybody here is a family, I got a very warm welcome from everybody here from all my co-actors, my director, and the technical department. They sang a song for me which I had also posted on my social media. When I came back, I came to know that a few people had got married, some became parents. And it was really great because all of them are very close to my heart. It was like meeting friends and family again.” (Checkout: Sushant Singh Rajput And Rhea Chakraborty's Date By The Seaside, Get Clicked With Fans (Pictures))
Earlier, in a chat with SpotboyE, Saumya had opened up about the details of getting back to work after delivering Miraan Tandon Singh. The newbie mother had then remarked that she won’t compromise with breastfeeding, “Yes, he was with me on the sets. I am not going to leave him home. I am a feeding mother. He was on the sets, in my vanity van, for about 5 hours. I sent him back after that. I will continue to get Miraan on the sets as I don't want to compromise on breastfeeding.”
After embracing motherhood, Saumya had told Pinkvilla about her happiness on the same and was quoted as saying, “It's quite a big change in my life. It was quite a tough process as I was working throughout my pregnancy. I began not so smoothly. My first trimester was quite bad. But yeah, I picked up. In fact, I was exercising a lot, for 2 hours a day during my third trimester. That kept me going and I was much better. I genuinely feel it's quite an achievement. It's quite overwhelming.” (Do Read: Gauri Khan Gives Glimpse Of Her 'Three Little', Aryan, Suhana And AbRam Basking In The Maldives Sun)
