Amitabh Bachchan's 'Anand' Co-Star, Seema Deo Passed Away At The Age Of 81 Due To Prolonged Illness

As per reports, Seema Deo left for the heavenly abode at the age of 81. The popular actress was the mother of 'Delhi Belly's' director, Abhinay Deo.

Amitabh Bachchan's 'Anand' Co-Star, Seema Deo Passed Away At The Age Of 81 Due To Prolonged Illness

Veteran actress, Nalini Saraf popularly known as Seema Deo, left for the heavenly abode at the age of 81. For the unversed, Seema made her debut in the acting industry with the film, Miya Bibi Razi in 1960. Since then, she was part of many Hindi and Marathi films, including Bhabhi Ki Chudiya, Saraswatichandra, Anand, Kora Kagaz, Dream Girl, and others. Seema was last seen in the film, Jetaa, in 2010.

Anand actress, Seema Deo passed away due to a prolonged illness

On August 24, 2023, Seema Deo passed away after suffering from age-related ailments for a long period of time. Seema, who was 81 years old, also had Alzheimer's. She was living in Bandra with her son and famous director, Abhinay Deo, before breathing for the last time.

Seema Deo worked in more than 80 films in a career spanning 5 decades. She played the role of Amitabh Bachchan's sister-in-law in the film, Anand. On the other hand, Seema's husband, Ramesh was in the role of Amitabh's friend, 'Dr. Prakash Kulkarni'.

Seema Deo's husband, Ramesh Deo, was also a famous actor. The loving couple was blessed with two sons, Ajinkya Deo and Abhinay Deo. While Abhinay is a popular director, Ajinkya is a well-known Marathi actor. As per reports, Ramesh left the mortal planes after suffering a heart attack on February 2, 2022, at the age of 93. Since then, Seema was living with their son, Abhinay Deo, in Mumbai.
