But do you know that Shah Rukh doesn’t want his daughter, Suhana Khan to stay around any guy who behaves like ‘Raj’ and ‘Rahul’? Shah Rukh Khan and his more-than-just-a-star-wife, Gauri Khan are proud parents to their ‘Sugar, Spice And Everything Nice’ trio, Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan. Shah Rukh and Gauri’s social media handles are all about their kids and the power couple of B-town keeps giving us glimpses of their personal life through it. A few months back, Gauri had posted a beautiful picture of her and Suhana, giving a peck on Shah Rukh’s cheeks. She had captioned it as “Most days he deserves it.”
While you go all ‘awww’ over the picture, let’s reveal why Shah Rukh Khan doesn’t want his daughter, Suhana Khan to stay around any guy who behaves like ‘Raj’ and ‘Rahul’. In an interview with the Filmfare, Shah Rukh remarked, “What is the essence of romance? To make somebody feel it at a particular moment in time. Personally, I’m not like that. If I stood with my arms open and sang a song in front of my wife, probably she’d throw me out of the house. I told my daughter, that if a guy meets you and says, ‘Rahul, naam toh suna hoga’, he’s a stalker. If a boy looks at you across a room at a party and says, "aur paas, aur paas", go kick him in the shins. But in the film, if I’m able to activate an element of innocence and make it attractive, the role gets reinvented by itself.”
In a throwback interview, when Shah Rukh Khan was asked if he gives relationship advice to his children, he had stated, "I give relationship advice to no one. I think you should not give such advice to anyone. Because every relationship is different, every f***-up is different, every happiness is different. You should just let everyone be. Yeah, sometimes, in a fun, gossipy way, you can talk about somebody else's relationship, but I think, as weird, conservative or wild as a relationship may be, it's perfectly all right. You should not judge it. I have heard of some really awkward ones and maybe you get a little surprised, but if it suits them, it's fine."
Shah Rukh Khan had also spoken about his daughter, Suhana Khan’s wish to become an actress and how he is supportive of whatever his kids choose. Revealing the condition that he wants his kids to fulfill before opting for a film career, Shah Rukh had stated, "Suhana wants to be an actress. I see that zeal in her. She's extremely good on stage, I've seen her performances. But my point is simple — you need to complete your education before doing anything. That's the only thing I have told my children. Otherwise, they are free to be in the film industry, not be in it and do whatever they like. I will be supportive of whatever they want to do." In another throwback interview, Shah Rukh Khan’s wife, Gauri Khan was asked about the consequences of their daughter, Suhana Khan happens to date a struggling actor and wishes to marry him. To this Gauri had replied, “Shah Rukh would catch hold of him and make him sit and bore him to death. He would ask him so many questions and teach him how to act. He would get fed-up and run away!" Gauri had continued, “For him losing his parents at such a young age, Shah Rukh wants to spoil them. He wants to give them everything. He spoils them rotten, I can't do anything. I just have to sit back and complain, like a complaint box."
Suhana Khan hasn’t even made her debut in the film industry and already has a zillion fan pages dedicated to her. That is exactly how, as per another such instance, we came across an adorable picture of Suhana, where she was all smiles for the camera as she stood in a kitchen. Suhana had worn a black halter-neck, full-sleeved sweater, which she had tucked in her high-waist blue denim. Her hair was partially left loose. While there are many such zillion pictures on her fan pages that made us want to add in here, but this simple picture of hers surely caught our fancy.
In a 2018 interview with Vogue, Suhana Khan had spoken about embracing fame since childhood. She had stated, “I realised quite early on that it was different for us. But I never really thought about my dad being famous. When I was about five, he would come and drop me to school, and people would point and stare. He wasn’t being addressed as Suhana’s dad, which is what I wanted. It confused me. He would want to hug me, and I would push him back in the car. I hated the attention, it made me very self-conscious.”
At the Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF), Shah Rukh Khan had said something about his daughter, Suhana Khan which had become a subject to harsh criticism. This is what people thought he had stated, “I’ll be honest; my daughter is sanwli (dusky), but she’s the most beautiful girl in the world. And nobody can tell me otherwise.” But it later turned out that what Shah Rukh Khan had actually said, goes like this, “My daughter is sanwli (dusky), AND she’s the most beautiful girl in the world.” He had used the word ‘and’ and not ‘but’.
