Legendary actor, Shah Rukh Khan, who gave us countless hit films and the iconic wide arms pose, turned 59 today, on November 2, 2024. For the first time in years, the star has not followed through with his tradition of waving at the thousands of fans who gather outside his home, Mannat, to celebrate his birthday. Instead, the Badshah of Bollywood kept up the more recent tradition he started, of having a meet and greet event with fans on his special day. Shah Rukh arrived at the event called 'SRK Day' that is curated by his fan clubs in Bandra, at 6:30 PM and patiently answered his fans' countless questions.
While it may have been King Khan's birthday, he was the one to give his fans the treat as he performed several of his hit songs. In one clip from the event, SRK could be seen on stage grooving with the group of dancers to his popular track, Baadshah O Baadshah. The energy in the hall was palpable as his fans screamed their lungs out for him, and Shah Rukh took a moment to blow them kisses.

The event also had a Q&A session where fans had the opportunity to ask their beloved star questions. During the same, one fan asked Shah Rukh who he usually supported when his three kids, Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam fought. To this, the Pathaan star hilariously responded:
"Waise hoti nahi hai unki fight. Actually ajeeb si baat hai, main wahi soch raha hu kabhi aaj tak ladaai hui nahi hai. Aur ho bhi naa. Property ke batwaare mein badi problem hoti hai warna."
It may be Shah Rukh Khan's birthday, but being a dad is a full-time job that doesn't pause even for an occasion like that. The star proved the same by revealing that his special day started with solving AbRam's iPad problems, as the little one's device had stopped working. Following that, the doting dad sorted out his darling daughter, Suhana's wardrobe crisis. The birthday boy, SRK, quipped:

"I learn from my family that your patience is directly proportional to the numbers of kids you have."
Shah Rukh then followed his joke up with a more serious remark about the values he likes to follow in both his personal and professional life. Talking about what his family had taught him, he stated:
"This is the learning that I carry from my home to my work. I try and fix the problems that people are facing, at my shoot, at work. I think patience is the one thing I have learnt from my family."
Kolkata Knight Riders, which is the IPL team backed by Shah Rukh Khan, uploaded a heartwarming clip from the event on Instagram. In the clip, SRK was seen cutting a cake as his fans sang 'Happy Birthday' to him. The team also adorably wished the star in their caption and quipped that the party was at 'Pathaan's' house today.
