"I've never looked into my wife's purse. I still knock on the bedroom door if she's changing; I knock on my daughter's bedroom door. They know it's me, but this is their space."
Once, in an interaction with the Red Sea International Film Festival, King Khan revealed he had not signed movies for 6-7 months as he thought his daughter would need his presence in the USA. Suhana had called and informed she was fine and had questioned why he did not do films. In his words:
“She never called me. I didn't sign any films and I thought, 'Maybe she'll call me, maybe she'll call me.' So, I called her one day and said, 'Listen, may I start working now?' and she said, 'Why aren't you working?' And I said, 'I thought you'd call me and feel lonely in New York.'"
Suhana, once in an interview, had revealed she and Aryan Khan were very young when they realized that their childhood would be different from the rest. However, she added that it did not affect her relationship with her father, who, despite being a megastar, would always be her father. Suhana revealed she did not like the attention her dad was getting initially and did not find it normal. She craved normalcy, but it was next to impossible. Suhana remembered when she was 5, her dad dropped her at school, and everyone stared at her. Even if he wanted to hug her, she did not like it as it would garner attention.
Suhana gradually made peace with her father's stardom. The Archies actress had moved abroad to pursue higher studies but missed Mannat, her home. The Archies star had no regrets about shifting abroad and realized it was the best decision of her life. Suhana believed that abroad, the attention she received wasn't that much as she could silently walk on the road and travel on the train, which was not possible in Mumbai.
