Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor are among the 'It' couples in Tinseltown. The two, who got married in 2015, welcomed their first child, a daughter, Misha, just a year later. Shahid and Mira then had their son, Zain, two years later, in 2018. Recently, the couple's little princess turned eight years old, and the doting parents threw the most 'blingy' party to celebrate this special occasion.
On August 26, 2024, Shahid and Mira's daughter, Misha, turned eight. To celebrate the day, the couple hosted a bling-themed party at their home, which was attended by their near and dear ones. Taking to her Instagram stories, Mira shared a few sneak peeks from the celebrations. In one of the pictures, she was seen posing with her devar, Ishaan Khatter. The duo was sporting denim outfits and funky accessories. Sharing the picture, Mira wrote:

In the next picture, Mira posed for a selfie with a few of her friends, who were wearing heart-shaped red party glasses. The entrepreneur also shared a few glimpses of the 'blingy' decor, which showcased a 'Bling It Up, Misha's Era' board, several heart-shaped party glasses, beaded bracelets, face gem stickers, sequinned hats, and flowers.
Further, in a picture, Mira could be seen posing in front of a table decorated with foil balloons in the shades of pink, metallic silver and purple. Moreover, as Misha is a diehard Taylor Swift fan, the balloons were adorned with some of the lyrics of the singer's most popular songs, like Anti-Hero, Dancing With Our Hands Tied and many more.
On Misha's birthday, the doting mommy, Mira, took to her Instagram account to share a heartfelt post and some pictures of their little princess, who's now all grown up. In the first two pictures of the carousel, Misha was seen posing solo, and in the last photo, Mira hugged her little one in a tight embrace. Sharing the carousel on her IG feed, Mira penned:
"I will spend my whole life loving you. Happy 8th Birthday our darling girl. Sunshine, sparkles and the best of everything for the light of our lives. Smile forever, my baby girl, Misha."
In an interview with Komal Nahata, Shahid talked about welcoming his little girl, Misha, into their lives. He revealed that after he found out that he and Mira had welcomed a girl into this world, he immediately called up his father-in-law, seeking forgiveness. Shahid mentioned that he was very happy when he got the news of Misha’s birth, and his next action was to call up Mira’s father. Talking about the incident, he said:

“I was so happy, and then I was so scared because it was a daughter. And having a girl makes you feel so like ‘oh god’ because I had just gotten married and the first thing, I did was I called Mira’s father and said, ‘Dad, if I did anything to trouble you in the shaadi then I am really sorry.’”
