Shahid Kapoor is one of the most sought-after actors of his generation in Bollywood. The handsome hunk enjoys a massive fan following over the years as he never fails to entertain them with his terrific performances and charming personality. While he overtly appears to be a rugged man, in his personal life, Shahid is just an ordinary family man. For the unversed, the actor is married to the love of his life, Mira Rajput Kapoor and the duo is blessed with a daughter, Misha and a son, Zain.
In a recent interaction with Quint Neon, Shahid Kapoor credited his spiritual faith to bring about a life shaping event for him. For the unversed, the actor as well as his family are deeply spiritual followers of the Radha Soami Satsang organisation. He revealed that his spiritual faith made him curious about his life and make sense of quite a few things which he never understood in the first place. He mentioned:
“It is my spiritual path. I always had a spiritual leaning. I always was very curious about life, about the source of life, about why we are here, what’s the point of it all, and I was very lost because I didn’t have any answers so I couldn’t make sense of anything.”

In the same revelation, Shahid Kapoor then added that he and his family follow the spiritual path laid down by the Radha Soami Satsang community. He remarked that awakening the spiritual side of his life enabled himself better and rather establish a connection with God himself. In his words:
“I follow the Radha Soami path. I really connected with it, and I think that helped me set context to everything. I think that helped me understand things much better, understand myself better. And I think, amongst other things, like being an actor and being a parent, and being a child, I am actually on the quest of finding myself and my relationship with God.”
Previously, in one of his interactions with Mid-Day, Shahid Kapoor had opened up about how his religious faith led way to find his soulmate, Mira Rajput Kapoor. The actor revealed that their respective families are followers of the same religious community, and that was where their connection was established. Talking more on it, he had mentioned:
“We do share a spiritual faith, but we met via family. We were aware of each other’s spiritual faith. We went an lived in Punjab for two years, with them for a few months, and on our own during Covid. So, I spent a lot of time with them… Her side of the family is very normal, and that’s something I cherish about them.”

Amongst his other skills, Shahid Kapoor is unanimously accepted in the film industry as a great dancer. From hip hop, free style to desi moves, the actor has made everyone dance to the tunes of his peppy numbers. Previously, in one of his interviews with India Today, Shahid Kapoor walked down the memory lane and recalled how his journey towards dance had started. The actor mentioned that he didn’t showcase exceptional talent at the beginning, and was merely a shy 15-year-old teenager dancing in the corner of the room.
