Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor are the OG couple of the glamour world. Despite Mira's not belonging to the glamour world and their age gap, the lovely couple never misses a chance to swoon everyone with their chemistry. It was on July 7, 2015, that Shahid broke the hearts of millions of girls and tied the knot with 13-year-old Mira Rajput, a Delhi-based girl.
As Mira turned a year older on September 7, 2024, Shahid penned a heartfelt note for his ladylove. Taking to his IG handle, Shahid posted some romantic pictures with Mira from some of their most cherished moments together. It was a delight to see Mira and Shahid’s cosy moments and the warmth they share with one another.

Shahid posted Mira’s pictures with her parents and also showed how she was an absolutely doting daughter-in-law to her mother-in-law, Neliima Azeem, as he gave a glimpse of their candid moment. Along with an array of pictures, Shahid penned a note filled with love for Mira. His note can be read as:
“She is magic. She is beautiful inside out. She is strong , she is loving and her smile lights up my heart. This birthday girl is all mine and I can’t believe my luck. Happy birthday you beautiful thing. May god bless you always and forever my love.”

In a throwback interview with Filmfare, Shahid Kapoor talked about his first meeting with Mira Rajput. The duo are a part of the same religious group, and they met at a family friend’s farmhouse in Delhi. Talking about his first meeting with Mira, Shahid revealed that he was awestruck by her. In his words:
“I’m still falling in love with her….a bit more every day. The first time we met, we spoke for seven hours. We were at a friends' farmhouse in Delhi. We went for a walk outside and the sun was setting behind her. I realised her eyes were not dark. They had a hazel tinge. That moment, I felt shayad main iss ladki se shaadi kar sakta hoon. But I also told myself, “What are you thinking? Bees saal ki hai besharam!”
Since then, Shahid and Mira have been living their ‘happily ever after’ and have welcomed two little munchkins, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor, into their lives. To mark their fourth wedding anniversary, Shahid posted the first-ever picture of his now-wife, Mira, which he had saved on his phone. Shahid captioned it as:
“Her first picture I saved on my phone. And now almost every second picture has her in it. She is #life. I love you @mira.kapoor thank you for being you.”
