The sweet chocolate boy of Bollywood, Shahid Kapoor has turned into an angry lover boy since his rugged appearance in the popular movie, Kabir Singh. He was born to the actor, Pankaj Kapur and his first wife, Neliima Azeem. Over the years, he has bowled us over with his dimpled smile, sartorial picks and commendable acting prowess.
For the unversed, Shahid Kapoor is a loving husband to his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor and a caring father to his beautiful kids, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor. In an interview with actor, Riteish Deshmukh, Shahid revealed if he ever faced opposition from his wife, Mira, over choosing movie scripts and his reply would leave you in splits.

Recently, Shahid Kapoor graced Amazon MiniTv’s show, Case Toh Banta Hai. And during a fun conversation, Riteish Deshmukh asked Shahid if he ever liked any movie script from his heart and still cherishes it. To which, the actor gave a hilarious reply and said that he doesn’t like any of his movie scripts till date but did it only to support his family’s financial needs. In his words:
“Nahi, aisa kabhi nahi hua hai (laughs). Kaam karna padta hai sir, ghar chalana padta hai.”
In the same conversation, Riteish asked one more interesting question to Shahid. He queried if his wife, Mira ever expressed her disliking towards any script of Shahid’s film. Answering this, the Jersey actor said that he is still a joru ka gulam in his personal life and follows his wife’s script only. He said:
“Ji personal life mein toh roz yahi hota hai, aur jo unka script sense hota hai ussi script par kaam kiya jata hai.”

Earlier, in a candid chat with the Mid-Day, Shahid had revealed that Mira Rajput Kapoor is his most brutal critic and loudest cheerleader. However, Mira never shied away from giving her unfiltered opinions. Shahid had said that many times Mira had shown utmost honesty and had told him not to waste his time and energy on certain films. Shahid could be quoted as saying:
“Sometimes, she just comes back home [after a screening] and says, ‘Don’t waste too much time on this film. Move on quickly.”
We love how Shahid follows Mira's wishes by heart!
