On Netflix's Fabulous Lives vs. Bollywood Wives, you may recall the dramatic moment when Riddhima Kapoor Sahni unintentionally spilt champagne on socialite, Shalini Passi while they were on an all-girls trip to Mauritius. In a recent virtual meeting, the two appeared to discuss the matter, which resulted in a fight. The show's producer and host, Karan Johar, stepped in to help them relax.

The ladies of Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives and Karan Johar recently sat down for a virtual discussion to reflect on the season. The director asked Kalyani Saha Chawla and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni if they thought Shalini Passi harboured any 'resentment' against them. Riddhima said she would like it if Shalini spoke candidly about any residual animosity. She said that if that were the case, she would own up to her mistakes and believe in being direct. In her words:
"I said it into the camera; I said Shalini is like my real sister. I will always tell her off... But Shalini, you say you don't want us to tell you. You don't want any advice. You are okay. You shut us out."
Then Riddhima asked what was causing the resentment. Shalini replied that she had experienced a feeling of being ganged up on, especially when she depended on the team for assistance. She expressed how disappointed she felt. Shalini Passi replied:
"The thing is you don't gang up against your team member. I felt you guys had ganged up. I was relying on you for a lot of things."
Riddhima went on to say that Shalini was excluding her staff and expected them to support her, but she didn't want any advice. Ultimately, Shalini disclosed that they were amicable, but she would take her time to recover.
In Season 3, the theme of Mumbai vs Delhi was carried over into Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives. The Mumbai team was made up of Neelam Kothari, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, and Seema Kiran Sajdeh, who played in the first two seasons. The Delhi team included Shalini Passi, Kalyani Saha Chawla, and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni.
