Shalini Passi Reveals Shah Rukh Khan Attended Her Wedding And It Has A Delhi Connection

The lives of Neelam Kothari, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Panday and Seema Sajdeh were shown in the first two seasons of the Netflix original Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives . The third season of the show, which was renamed Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives , saw the entry of Delhi socialite Shalini Passi along with Kalyani Saha Chawla and Ranbir Kapoor's sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. Shalini became everyone's favorite as she brought uniqueness to the show. However, do you know that Shah Rukh Khan had attended her wedding with Sanjay Passi?

During an interview with Filmfare, Shalini revealed that her husband, Sanjay and Shah Rukh Khan were batchmates at Hansraj College in Delhi. She also called him a phenomenon known for inspiring people of all ages. Shalini also revealed the reason behind admiring King Khan. It is well known that she has a great bond with SRK and Gauri Khan. However, because of Shah Rukh's reading habits, Shalini is an ardent fan. Shalini quipped:

"He ends up reading many books in one go, whereas I never read any."

Thanks to Sanjay Passi, Shalini has a great bond with SRK and Gauri. She admires him for his intelligence, kind-hearted nature, and parenting style and finds him a good human being overall. During an earlier interview with DNA, Shalini shared that her husband and Gauri were neighbors in Delhi, and grew up together. Shah Rukh and her husband had even studied together. Shalini's son and Aryan had also attended the same university together, and they have been very close.

Shalini, also mentioned that when she had a cameo in season 3 of Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives , Gauri Khan had shown immense support to her. She also said that Gauri had watched the first few episodes of the series, called her and said that she loved it completely. It was a proud moment for Shalini, who has always praised Gauri. She had once even said in an interview with DNA that despite being the wife of King Khan, she was connected to her roots. Shalini had said that Gauri, being from Delhi, and with her father being in the army, has this fantastic quality of remaining grounded. The art collector found that it was rare to maintain that in the industry and called Gauri a solid person, whether it came to her family or her friends. In Shalini's words:

"When she visits Delhi, she always makes it a point to meet her school and college friends and spend time with them. It's truly a pleasure to know her and the entire family".
