Sharmila Tagore is one of the most talented actresses in the Hindi film industry. Right from the tender age of 14 years, Sharmila Tagore has been winning the hearts of her fans with her exceptional acting chops, divine beauty, queen-like aura, and more. In her personal life, the veteran actress tied the knot with the former Indian cricketer, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi in 1969. It was back in 2011 when the prolific cricketer bid goodbye to the world, therefore ending their 43-year marital journey. Sharmila, in several of her interviews, talked about her and Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi's love story, and now she revealed if the late cricketer was romantic enough.

Sharmila Tagore recently graced Amitabh Bachchan's reality show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 15. While being there, the actress opened up about several anecdotes about her and her late husband's dating period. During the conversation, Sharmila was asked if Mansoor was romantic. To this, the actress gave a hilarious response. Sharmila walked down memory lane and recalled their 'full moon' date. The actress shared that once they went near the Narmada River in Bhopal during a full moon. The actress further recalled how she asked Mansoor to join her to sit near the river, and the late cricketer straightaway said 'no'. Talking more about the same, Sharmila said:

"Romantic and Tiger? You know we were near Narmada in Bhopal. I said that it's so nice, it was a full moon. Beautiful. I said let's go and sit near the river. And he said that he's not going. It's so late in the night and he won't go. That's it.”

Sharmila Tagore went on to add how she forced Tiger Pataudi to go and sit near the river. The actress said that her husband agreed to the same and spent five romantic minutes there. Sharing what happened later, Sharmila stated that she and her late hubby were encountered by a lot of mosquitoes. Sharing how Tiger Pataudi called it romantic, Sharmila added:

"I said no, let's go. As it's full moon, a river, you and l, it will be great fun. Let's go. So we went there and sat. It was very nice for five minutes and then the mosquitoes, after a while, I started twitching and he said, ‘No, it's so romantic and lovely. Let's sit here’.”

While being on KBC 15, Sharmila Tagore yet again revealed the cutesy story of her and Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi's first encounter. The actress revealed that she and Tiger met at a cricket party, wherein they exchanged their phone numbers. Talking more about the same, Sharmila shared that Tiger once struck a double century, and she left a message on his phone.

However, a few months later, Sharmila got a call saying she received five air conditioners from London, which left her scared as, back then, imported things were banned. The actress shared that she thought that she would go to jail. However, when she called that number later, it was none other than Tiger Pataudi. Sharmila added it was right after that when the cricketer asked her out on a coffee date.

Sharmila Tagore recalls stopping the traffic while shooting

During one segment of the game, Sharmila Tagore recalled an incident when she stopped the traffic while shooting for An Evening In Paris. The actress said that she was wearing a red ghagra choli and was dancing on the Champs-Elysees thereby stopping the traffic.
