In recent times, a majority of B-town female celebrities have strictly prohibited the paparazzi from clicking them from their backside, which has now become a trend. Mrunal Thakur, Janhvi Kapoor and Palak Tiwari are a few among them. However, actress, Shefali Jariwala has a slightly different approach to this matter.
Recently, the Kanta Laga actress opined that she doesn't mind paparazzi clicking her from behind. Her remark, "I don’t mind, I work bloody hard on my back. So if it looks a little good," has garnered much attention from people on the internet. Days later, Shefali has now further elaborated on this comment in another interview.

While speaking to the Hindustan Times, Shefali said that, unlike other female actors, she enjoys the attention the paparazzi give her. The actress stated that she has worked on her body and she's okay if anyone appreciates it. Highlighting that one cannot simply just hide the posterior part of their body, Shefali said:
"I work very hard on my body, so if somebody appreciates it, I am okay. I am not wearing chaddis and going out, it's full clothing. You can't hide your posterior, can't wear an abaya and step out."
In the same conversation, the 41-year-old actress mentioned that to date she has not found any objectionable video of her on the pap pages. And if someday, she comes across any vulgar video, she would tell them to take the video down, and they will. Sharing that the paparazzi are not bad people, Shefali added:
"I have the confidence that if something ever comes out like that, I share the equation to tell the pap to take it down and they will. There is mutual respect. They are not bad people, they are just doing their jobs and putting out what the audience wants. Everybody wants to get viral, and I understand that."

In the end, Shefali was asked to share her opinion on the other celebrities who object to such coverage. She mentioned that its good that people are voicing their opinions. However, just asking them not to click their backsides isn't going to solve the problem, as even ordinary people can click such pictures. Shefali was quoted as saying:
"They may not be happy and are voicing their opinion. To each his own. Peeche se mat lena bolke - is that going to control anybody? Even regular people can click such pics, you cannot control all of them. Yes, if it is seems objectionable (to them), I am glad they voice it out. If the paps listen to them too, then it's great. They usually do."
