Bollywood’s veteran actor, Shekhar Suman is famous for always standing for the things and people he believes in. Since the sudden demise of the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, the veteran actor, Shekhar Suman is extremely depressed by the tragedy and has already extended his condolences to his family on social media. But along with that, the actor has voiced-out for a CBI inquiry into the matter of Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicidal death. The actor had shared many tweets already in support of people urging for a CBI inquiry. And now after having a meeting with the family of Sushant, the actor has revealed something shocking about his son, Adhyayan Suman. The doting father has told how his son had gone through a similar phase and had suicidal thoughts too. Please scroll down to read it all!
In an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Bollywood’s veteran actor, Shekhar Suman talked about the sudden demise of the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput and how he was like a son to him. Shekhar Suman has recently met his father, KK Singh at his home in Patna and revealed he could imagine a little part of his gigantic pain. Shekhar told that he had seen his son, Adhyayan Suman battling with depression and having suicidal thoughts in the past. He said, “It was difficult for us to get my son out of that bad phase of his life. But now, after Sushant’s death, I am scared and worried once again. I used to peek in his room to check that he was okay. It has happened several times that I had opened his door to check on him at 4 or 5 a.m., only to find him staring blankly at the ceiling. It’s heartbreaking for parents to see their kids suffering from depression and having suicidal thoughts in their minds. On June 29, 2020, Shekhar Suman along with his friend and director, Sandip Ssingh had met with the family of Sushant Singh Rajput at their Patna residence. After having an emotional meeting with the whole family, Shekhar Suman had taken to his Twitter handle and had tweeted about the same and also, what he thinks should be done next. His first tweet could be read as “Met Sushant's father..shared his grief. We sat together for a few minutes without exchanging a word..He is still in a state of deep shock..I feel the best way to express grief is thru silence.#justiceforSushantforum #CBIEnquiryForSushant.” Take a look.

In another tweet, the actor could be seen giving a byte to the media gathered outside Sushant’s residence. In this, we can hear him saying that there’s a lot more in the story just than the things that are in front of us. Along with Shekhar Suman, famous filmmaker, Sandip Ssingh had also revealed a shocking revelation about the late actor. Sandip had announced that he and Sushant were going to make a movie titled, Vande Bharatam as Sushant had promised him to be in his directorial film. In an emotional post on Instagram, Sandip had revealed it all along with the poster of the film, and it could be read as “You made me a promise. We, the Bihari brothers, will one day rule this industry and be the inspiration/support system for all young dreamers like you and me bhai. You promised me that my directorial debut would be with you. Raaj Shaandilyaa wrote this, and we were to produce this together. I need your belief, that faith you showed, that was my strength. Now, with you gone...I’m lost...but I promise you this my brother. Now tell me how do I fulfil this dream? Who will hold my hand like you did?
