Ganesh Chaturthi is around the corner and the entire nation is beaming with joy. Everyone, including B-town celebrities are excited to welcome their favourite God, Ganpati Bappa to their homes. And now, we got a glimpse of Shilpa Shetty and her husband, Raj Kundra, who was spotted at Lalbaugh to bring Ganpati Bappa and undoubtedly, the visuals melted our hearts. The diva's love and admiration for Ganpati Bappa is not hidden from anyone and this year too, she is all set to celebrate the festival with full dhamal. For the unversed, currently, Shilpa has been gearing up for her upcoming film, Sukhee and she has been quite busy with the promotions of the same.
On September 17, 2023, Shilpa Shetty was spotted along with her husband, Raj Kundra at Lalbaugh. The lovebirds visited the auspicious place to bring their favourite Ganpati Bappa to their home. In the pictures and videos going viral on the internet, Shilpa and Raj can be seen carrying their 'Gannu Maharaj', whose face was covered with an orange chunari. Later, Shilpa even gave a glimpse of Lord Ganesh Idol and it was mesmerising. And oh boy, the happiness on her face was unmissable as she is all set to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with her loved ones.

To bring Bappa home, Shilpa opted for a beautiful ethnic ensemble. She looked drop-dead gorgeous as she donned a green-coloured anarkali suit featuring embellishments on the cuffs. Shilpa styled her outfit with a multi-coloured striped dupatta featuring tassel detail and embroidery work on the borders. The actress accentuated her look with a pair of stud earrings, kadas, winged eyeliner, pink lipstick, highlighted cheekbones and a bindi. On the other hand, her husband, Raj can be seen hiding his face with a black mask and a brown-hued hoodie. He styled his hoodie with a red t-shirt and pants.
On September 2, 2022, Shilpa had taken to her IG handle and dropped an adorable picture of her third-day celebrations of Ganesh Utsav. In the picture, the actress could be seen twinning with her daughter, Samisha in matching pastel-coloured sharara that featured floral prints all over it. The mommy-daughter duo looked cute as they posed together. And oh boy, it was Shilpa's little girl, Samisha's cutesy antics in the picture that melted our hearts.

Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Shilpa had opened up about her parenting style. Talking about the same, the actress mentioned why she and her husband, Raj spend a lot of time with their kids, Viaan and Samisha. The diva stated that during her childhood, she used to spend time with her parents only on weekends as they were working. Mentioning that she understands the feeling of being away from her parents, Shilpa said:
"My mother has been a very strong influence in my life. And I was telling somebody that we understood that our parents were working. And we barely saw them. We only saw them on weekends because that was the only time that we got with them. Unke pass choice nahi thi. Hum to bohot saara time spend karte hain apne bachchon ke saath."
