We all will agree that having a sibling is a blessing in our life, but we accept it after turning twenty. There are days when we fight like cats and dogs, but there are days when we fight with the world for them like warriors. After all, they are the best gift our parents can ever give us. They are the souvenirs of our lost childhood and we had shared many memories with them. And Bollywood actress, Shilpa Shetty Kundra shares an exactly similar relationship with her sister, Shamita Shetty. On the occasion of Siblings Day, On April 12, 2020, Shilpa had shared a video with Shamita, and had written, "Missed #SiblingDay yesterday. So this is for you @shamitashetty_official A sister is someone who knows your worst fears and darkest secrets. When your parents don’t understand your sister always will (or at least pretends to) If as a woman you don’t understand how you can love your sister sooooo much that you can kill for her and wring her neck at the same time... then you are a single child! From all our shenanigans to all our ‘girlie issues’, I will always cherish those childhood memories, even when we fought like cats & dogs and then made up like nothing happened. But most importantly, I had someone who kept me going on my lowest days amid all the struggles life could throw at me, and for that I’m forever grateful to you for standing by me. Time has flown by but this must be said, you are Irreplaceable. It’s “US” against the World, always... my Tunki. Ae love ya!"
In an interview with the DNA, Shamita had revealed that she always asks for her sister, Shilpa's advise. She had shared, "Anything I take up or do, I have to consult Shilpa. From what I wear to who I am dating, I make her a part of everything as I have faith in her judgment. But when this came along, I had already made up my mind and told her about it. She was happy because she knew that I wanted to get back to acting. I don’t think I really got a chance to do enough of that."
