Bollywood actress, Shilpa Shetty Kundra is dealing with a lot of online trolling, abusive remarks, and hate speech on the internet since her husband, Raj Kundra's arrest in the pornographic case. No wonder it has taken a toll on her mental health, and recently during her first-ever appearance since Raj's arrest, the doting wife opened up about her way of dealing with all this negativity.
For the unversed, in February 2021, a racket publishing pornographic content was busted by the Mumbai Police and businessman, Raj Kundra was allegedly involved in the same. A woman had approached Mumbai Police and had put allegations on Raj for luring men and women with the idea of giving them web series and later forcing them to act in adult movies.

Recently, Shilpa Shetty Kundra made her first public appearance after her husband, Raj Kundra's arrest in the pornographic case. The actress attended a COVID-19 fundraiser, We For India: Saving Lives, Protecting Livelihoods, to help the people, who are struggling financially because of coronavirus in India. During the videothon, Shilpa addressed many issues that everyone faces in their respective lives but what caught everyone's attention was her revelation about her battle with negative thoughts these days. She said, "Mushkil waqt mein negative thoughts ka aana swabhavik hai."
Going further in her conversation at the virtual event, Shilpa Shetty Kundra also revealed her way of dealing with negative thoughts. She said, "Lekin uspe (negative thoughts) control ke liye prana par ayam hona bohot zaroori hai. That is why positive rehne ke liye apni breathing ko sahi karne ke liye, aaj ke time mein pranayam pehle se bhi zyada zaroori ho gaya hai." Shilpa Shetty was reportedly joined by celebrities like Dia Mirza, Karan Johar, Parineeti Chopra, Saif Ali Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Steven Spielberg, and many more.

It was on August 2, 2021, when Shilpa Shetty Kundra had finally broken her silence over her husband, Raj Kundra's arrest by sharing an official statement. Reacting to the severe accusations against Raj, Shilpa had written, "My statement. Yes! The past few days have been challenging, on every front. There have been a lot of rumours and accusations. A lot of unwarranted aspersions on me cast by the media and (not so) well wishers as well. A lot of trolling/questions posed… not only to me but also to my family. MY STAND… I HAVE NOT COMMENTED YET, and will continue to refrain from doing so on this case as it is subjudice, so please stop attributing false quotes on my behalf."
Shilpa Shetty Kundra had requested everyone to respect her family's privacy for the sake of her children and had continued, "Reiterating my philosophy of, as a celebrity "Never complain, never explain". All I will say is, as it's an ongoing investigation, I have full faith in the Mumbai Police & the Indian judiciary. As a family, we are taking recourse to all our available legal remedies. But, till then I humbly request you - especially as a MOTHER - to respect our privacy for my children's sake and request you to refrain from commenting on half-baked information without verifying the veracity of the same."
