Shirin Sewani is one of the most known faces of Indian television. She has also established herself as a popular content creator, through caricature and mimicry videos that she often puts up on her social media handles. In her personal life, she is married to airline captain, Udayan Sachan. The duo welcomed their first child, a baby boy in March 2024.
Taking to her IG handle, Shirin Sewani shared a few snapshots of herself, along with her baby boy. In the first glimpse, the actress zoomed into a closer look of her son, who looked cute in a pink shirt and blue shorts. While she didn’t reveal her son’s face, the picture surely melted a zillion hearts instantaneously. Up next, her next frame captured a beautiful mommy-son moment, as Shirin could be seen twinning with her son, while carrying him on her arms. However, the third picture left everyone in splits, as it included a caricature of a monkey-looking child. Explaining the reason for such a picture, Shirin penned an interesting caption, which can be read as:
“I am obsessed with My monkey.”

In an earlier interview with ETimes, Shirin Sewani opened up about entering the new chapter of her life as a mother and shared her raw feelings on the same. She expressed how motherhood is a superpower for every woman out there, as they evolve to do anything for the sake of their little one. Talking about her own self, Shirin remarked how she is more confident and powerful now. In her words:
“Having a baby feels like having a superpower because if you can have a baby, you are capable of everything. I now feel more powerful, confident and fearless. He is my world. Becoming a mother has given me a deeper understanding of my mother. Not that I loved or valued her any less, but my respect for her has grown manifold.”
In the same interaction, Shirin talked about the precious moments from an entire day that she loves to spend with her son. The newbie mommy referred how she loves snuggling, cuddling and singing lullabies for her, while she witnesses him fall asleep right beside her in the most adorable way.

Back on March 18, 2024, Shirin Sewani shared the most beautiful news of her life to her fans, as she got promoted as a mommy. However, ditching any ornamental or aesthetic way, the diva simply reshared a snapshot of news article that announced her welcoming a baby boy. Along with it, Shirin penned a quirky caption confirming the news and wrote:
“Chinky ka Bhaii hua hai."
