In an interview with SpotboyE, the Qayamat Ki Raat actress Dipika Kakar had opened up about her personal life. When she was asked about family planning and babies, she had laughed off on the face of it, but then replied, “It is so funny this Mother's Day I wished so many ladies and at least 90% of them have replied, ‘Waiting for you to join (laughs).’ I was like, ‘Excuse me, I just got married.’ But seriously for family planning, there is time… at least a year to go.” Further, when she was asked if she is fine on putting her career on hold when she conceives, the Bigg Boss 12 winner had stated, “I am a complete home person. If Shoaib tells me someday that, ‘Beta aap aaram karo main hoon.’ I will say, ‘Ya, Ya please mujhe kaam nahi karna.’ I am more than happy being home.” (Checkout: Lovey Sasan Of 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya' Ties The Knot Again In A South Indian Ceremony)
It is to be noted here that Dipika and Shoaib had kept their relationship under the wraps in their initial dating days. On the same, she had then clarified, "I wanted to be sure that this relationship wasn't on the rebound. Also, we were getting to know each other better. No matter how progressive we become, being a divorcee has some kind of a social stigma attached to it in our society. I had that stamp on me. But he gave me that space and despite being aware of my past, never complained about it."
Also, Dipika had converted to Islam to marry the love of her life. Confirming the same in an interaction with The Times of India, she had remarked, “Joh sach hai woh hai (Truth is the truth). It's true I have done it, but why and when I have done it, don't think it needs to be talked about. I think it is a very personal matter and I don't think I need to talk about it openly in front of the media. For the audience and media, we are actors have always shared everything. All our happy moments we have shared with you all, but this I think is a very personal space and I don't give anyone the permission to enter the space. Definitely, it is true, and I am not denying it. I am very happy and proud that I have done it for myself and my happiness. My family was with me in this decision and my intentions were to hurt anyone. This is my decision.” (Do Read: Tusshar Kapoor Hosts The Best Birthday Bash For Son, Laksshya Kapoor's Third Birthday, Pics Inside)
In a light-hearted conversation with the Indian Express some time back, Dipika and Shoaib were asked as to what they love, hate and tolerate about each other, Dipika had replied, “I love about him is the way he carries his relationships be it with his family, with his friends, you know. He just takes them together and walks ahead. So, that is what I love about him.” Adding further, she had said, “What I hate about him is not something that I would like to discuss about openly. And what I tolerate about him is his phone. Kabhi mujhe mauka mile na to main ise dustbin mein daal ke aa jaungi. I tolerate this about him definitely.”
On the same question, Shoaib was quoted as saying, “Love, puri. Hate kya bolu, ye jab b mujhe irritate karti hai na tab. Kbahi kabhi mera man hota hai Dipika nahi yar. Tolerate ka iska aisa kuch bhi nai hai. Ye kabhi koi aisi cheez nai karti hai. Lekin haan kabhi kabhi iska gussa. Thora sa”. Dipika interrupted and had said, “Ab to nai hoga. Ab to mujhe pucha jata hai itni shaant ho gayi hai. Ghar pe hai bhi ke nai.” (Also Check: Janhvi Kapoor Reminisces Her Parents, Sridevi And Boney Kapoor's Lovestory, Shares A Throwback Pic)
