The very beautiful daughter of actor Shakti Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor made her entry in Bollywood with Teen Patti, and stole the hearts of her fans with her movie, Aashiqui 2. She is not only loved for her acting, but also for her flawless skin and luscious hair. She believes in maintaining her skin and hair, and follows a regular routine for the same.

Shraddha believes in being chic and comfortable. She uses homemade packs for her hair. She prefers packs with hibiscus and aloe vera. The actress oils her hair twice a week, religiously. She relaxes her hair with a deep tissue head massage once a while. She thinks that one should keep the roots of hair strong to keep them healthy and beautiful. She uses a serum regularly to control the frizzing of hair.
In her own words:
"I use a hair pack made of aloe vera, hibiscus leaves or flowers and curd. You need to mix aloe vera juice or gel with the dried hibiscus leaves and curd and coat your hair with the mixture. Keep it on for 20 minutes, and rinse it off with water. The cooling and nourishing pack leaves your hair incredibly soft, smooth and shiny."

The actress makes sure that she gives special attention to her skin on a daily basis. Her secret to good skin is very simple; a good face wash, moisturiser and drinking plenty of water. Also, eating right is one of the key factors that help the young actress maintain her fresh look. The one thing she makes sure to do is not to leave home without sun protection.

Shraddha Kapoor did not follow any workout regime or diet plan initially. It was after she got recognition and fan following, she started concentrating on her workout and diet. She has her breakfast as soon as she wakes up, and finishes her dinner by 6 or 7 pm. She cuts down on her favourite food items to maintain herself.
She refrains from eating food rich in fat, and junk food. She drinks plenty of water throughout the day for hydration and proper digestion. She thinks that it provides an impeccable glow. According to her food rich in fibre helps in digestion and hence, she prefers them in the diet. She chooses vegan food items for adding protein to her diet.

When Shraddha Kapoor was young, she never worked out at the gym. She was into sports, and used to enjoy playing volleyball and basketball. She also loved to run and used to run whenever she found time during her teen years. She enjoys scuba diving, and does it whenever she finds time. Her liking for sports in her teen years has given her an athletic body, which is loved by her fans.
After her success with Aashiqui 2, the actress has started watching herself and hits the gym every day to practice cardio workouts, interval training and strength training. She goes to the gym 4 to 5 times a week, depending on her schedule. She also loves to dance, and believes it is one of the fastest ways to reduce weight and stay fit.

Shraddha Kapoor thinks sports makes one fit. She also suggests not skipping workouts. The actress enjoys eight hours of sleep every day, and believes that it makes one feel fresh when they wake up the next day. She thinks that not skipping food, and taking it on the scheduled time makes one fit.
