There is an ongoing debate on if nursing mothers should get vaccinated for the COVID-19 or not and now many celebrity mommies have come out to promote the idea of it. From Aditi Malik to Jankee Parekh Mehta, many mommies have shared their vaccination stories and now to join them is a new mom and singer, Shreya Ghoshal.

It was on May 22, 2021, when Shreya Ghoshal and her husband, Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya had welcomed their first child into their lives. Announcing their childbirth, Shreya had captioned her post as "God has blessed us with a precious baby boy this afternoon. It’s an emotion never felt before. @shiladitya and I along with our families are absolutely overjoyed. Thank you for your countless blessings for our little bundle of joy."
A few hours back, Shreya Ghoshal shared a Reel on her IG handle, where she can be seen taking the first dose of vaccination. Shreya mentioned that when her son was sleeping, she went for the vaccination. She wrote, “While #Devyaan was sleeping peacefully at home, I quickly went out to get my first dose of vaccination today!! It’s absolutely safe for new mothers to get vaccinated for covid as recommended by my doctors. Just like anyone else, if your are a nursing mother, you too can get your shots.”
Shreya had introduced her son to the world by sharing a family picture on her IG handle. Revealing her son’s name, Shreya had written, "Introducing- 'Devyaan Mukhopadhyaya' He arrived on 22nd May and changed our lives forever. In that first glimpse as he was born he filled our hearts with a kind of love only a mother & a father can feel for their child. Pure uncontrollable overwhelming love. It is still feeling like a dream. @shiladitya and me are so grateful for this beautiful gift of life."

Shreya Ghoshal’s pregnancy days had gone during the lockdown and the singer had received a surprise online baby shower from her friends on April 11, 2021. Shreya had shared pictures from her baby shower on her IG handle and had written, “When friends decide to pamper you even from a distance. Online surprise baby shower from my cutest ‘Baawris'. Everyone cooked something, or made something hand made, sent in a platter, plenty fun and games. How lucky am I! Wish the times were different and no lockdown/curfew were here. Missing meeting my girls."
In a conversation with ETimes, Shreya Ghoshal had opened up about her pregnancy journey and had said, “I am absolutely over the moon! We are grateful to the almighty for blessing us. I have always heard from friends and family members what a miraculous thing it is to feel a life growing within you, and now I am getting to experience it. Motherhood is among the most precious gifts a woman can cherish."
Shreya Ghoshal had also shared that her husband, Shiladitya had taken care of her pregnancy needs, her mood swings, cravings and her health. Shreya had added that they had wanted to plan a baby for a long time, but it was only now that they had gotten a break from their work schedule so that they can focus on their baby.

For the unversed, Shreya Ghoshal had tied the knot with her childhood sweetheart, Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya on February 5, 2015.
