Shriya Saran is known for her powerful acting mettle in both the Hindi and South Indian film industries. She made her Hindi film debut with Awarapan in 2007, but it was only in 2015 with her impeccable acting mettle in the film, Drishyam that made her an instant sensation. Coming to her personal life, the actress tied the knot with Russian entrepreneur, Andrei Koscheev and they are proud parents to their baby girl, Radha.
Being a mother and a full-time actor is not an easy job, and it requires some of the finest multi-tasking skills to nail it. Shriya is the very embodiment of the same dilemma and has been acing both duties in absolute perfection. Taking to her IG handle on April 15, 2023, Shriya dropped a video of her upcoming music video opposite Sharman Joshi, and revealed how she was totally mad about the shoot of the same, since she had to leave her daughter, Radha at a time when she was suffering from mumps. Her caption that revealed the whole story could be read as:

“This was a hard song to shoot. Radha was very young. Must be 8 months. She had mumps. I was nervous. We shot this song in goa. My make up was melting, hair going crazy. It was super-hot. And I had my periods.”

Further in the caption to the same post, Shriya thanked her co-star, Sharman Joshi for being extremely cooperative and putting his best foot forward in the work, so that it would go a little easy on her during her testing times. She mentioned:
“@sharmanjoshi is very easy to laugh with. Being romantic, next level acting. We did it well. Very well, I’m proud of our acting skills. @sharmanjoshi is a fab Co-star. Thank you for being peaceful when I was losing my cool!”
Shriya and her hubby, Andrei welcomed her baby girl, Radha on April 2021. However, it was only after completing six months of pregnancy that the couple announced the news to the world. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Shriya had once opened up on the same and mentioned that she wanted to enjoy the process of change in body shape for the first six months. In her words:
“There is a lot of fear. I feel one of the main reasons why I did not speak about my pregnancy was of course that I wanted to make it as my own time and spend time with myself and have those six months with Radha and be fat and whatever and not worry about what people write about me and just concentrate on my child. So one strong reason was that.”

Well, the fact that Shriya married a Russian-bred man was something which received a fair share of criticism and trolling for the same. However, in an interview with ETimes, Shriya revealed that such meaningless comments offended her husband, Andrei and she had to console him. In her words:
“I don't know. They (trolls) really don't do that to me. If it's funny, Andrei will read and we will laugh and discuss it with a cup of coffee but recently something really bad was written about him. They said, "Gore se kyun shaadi ki?" Andrei really got offended, he said that he is a human being first. I consoled him and told him, we laugh at the funny trolls, so we will have to deal with these ones as well and just let this go.”
Well, we love how Shriya prioritises her daughter’s well being over everything else!
