It was a lazy afternoon of June 14, 2020, when we witnessed the most heartbreaking news of Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput's demise. While we were hoping this news to be a fake one, the actor's co-workers had started posting condolence messages and talking about depression. Everyone believed the news flashing on their television screens, which had claimed that the actor had taken away his own life. But his fans were sure that their favourite star cannot take this drastic step, after all, he was above all this. His fans started questioning every theory that claimed it was a suicide and had proved it wrong. Soon, Sushant's fans turned into warriors and stood up to get justice for him. People across the world came together and demanded CBI inquiry into the matter. And the actor's family also supported them by registering and FIR against Sushant's girlfriend, Rhea Chakrborty. Its been more than two-months, and everyday new facts are being revealed and it clearly proves that it wasn't a suicide. But the truth hasn't come out yet, and his family hasn't found any closure.
On September 2, 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, Shweta Singh Kirti took to her Instagram handle and shared an emotional video of her bhai, crying on a reality show. It was a heartwrenching video, but her caption revealed the pain they are going through every second of the day. Shweta wrote, "I lost my brother and my heart bleeds everyday...how long will it take to find the truth... when will we be able to find closure? #JusticeForSushantSinghRajput #Warriors4SSR." People from across the globe are eyeing on the case and has stood up to fight for justice. And Sushant's former girlfriend, Ankita Lokhande was the first one, who had revealed that the actor wasn't a depressed man. On September 1, 2020, she had reposted a video shared by one of her fans, wherein Sushant was seen paragliding. In the video, we can see Sushant's excitement as he enjoyed these adventourous sports and we can also hear Ankita's loud cry. Alongside it, Ankita wrote, "How beautifully expressed and written nats, adi. Thank you so much for the memories. #Sushant u will be missed by all of us and all of ur fans." Earlier, in an interview with Republic TV, Ankita had revealed why she had not attended her former-boyfriend, Sushant's funeral. She had shared that she had gotten up from a phone call of a journalist, who had informed her about his death, "I was sleeping, and I just got up with some reporter's call. Usually, I don't take unknown numbers. I picked up the call, and this reporter said, ''Ankita, Sushant has committed suicide!'' And I was finished. It was something that.you don't expect something like this."
She had further added, "I didn't know what to do. I was just there. The next day, there was his funeral, and I couldn't make it because somewhere I knew that if I see Sushant somewhere like that, in that position, that stage. I have my whole life to live, and I will never be able to forget that phase. So I decided that I cannot go to the funeral." Ankita had also shared that she had met his family after the funeral, and said, "Apart from that, I had to meet his family. I wanted to make sure that they are okay. Jo jaana tha woh chala gaya but uske papa the, behne thi (He was gone but his father and sisters were there), and that was my duty to go and meet them. So I went and met them, and they were in a very bad condition. That's it, that's how I got to know."
