Shweta Tiwari Is Afraid Of Palak Tiwari Being Trolled Due To Link-Up Rumours, 'Dating Every Third..'

Actress Shweta Tiwari's career has been remarkable, albeit challenging at times. She has made her mark on the small and big screens, starring in TV serials, films, and even reality shows. Through it all, Shweta has successfully navigated and overcome setbacks in her professional and personal life. Her daughter, Palak Tiwari, with whom she shares a strong bond, chose to follow in her beloved mum's footsteps and made her acting debut with the 2023 release, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. While Shweta has kept up a brave face through her own tough times, she recently admitted that she is afraid to see her daughter, Palak face trolling or backlash.

Shweta Tiwari reveals she is unbothered by rumours as 'negativity about actors' sells

Shweta Tiwari recently appeared for a candid chat with SCREEN's Dear Me, during which she discussed her thoughts on rumours and negativity. The actress revealed that unverified gossip doesn't bother her because the audience is fickle and will forget the news in '4 hours.' Talking about how she was married thrice according to the news, Shweta said:

"Rumours don't bother me anymore, in all these years I have realized people's memory only last for 4 hours. They will forget the news after that, so why bother? As per rumours, my daughter is dating every third guy, and I am getting married every year. As per the internet, I am already married thrice. These things don't affect me now, earlier they did when social media was not there and when some journalist never liked writing good things about you. Negativity about actors sell. After dealing with that era, this doesn't affect me."

Shweta Tiwari revealed that she learned to deal with trolls from Palak Tiwari but still worries about her

Shweta Tiwari also discussed social media trolling and reflected on how things had changed over the years. The actress noted that earlier, audiences were simpler, and proving a point to them wasn't that difficult. However, according to Shweta, they have become bullies in recent times. She admitted that she 'evolved' because of her daughter, Palak, and learnt a lot as they grew up together. In fact, Shweta revealed that Palak first learned how to cope with social media trolling. The mommy then followed her daughter's example to learn how to deal with online haters.

Despite Palak teaching Shweta how to come to terms with trolls, the doting mommy confessed that she couldn't help but feel scared for her daughter. The actress revealed that she often worries about whether the hate comments ever get to Palak and even admitted that the attacks on her daughter affected her 'a lot.' In Shweta's words:

"It does scare me at times. No matter how Palak looks, she is very innocent, she can never give it back to people. This era of trolling has gotten so ugly, even though she is strong, I wonder what if it affects her,  if she gets underconfident, then what? That scares me. People have tried to pull her down, but she doesn't read comments. But you never know what can be hurtful. When she gets trolled, it affects me a lot."

Shweta Tiwari says she felt pressured when Palak Tiwari said her mother never gets scared

Shweta Tiwari also opened up about the tight bond she shares with her kids, Palak and Reyansh, admitting that she sometimes felt pressured to appear stronger than she is. Talking about the time when Shweta's words stressed her out so much that she couldn't eat, Shweta recounted:

"Once my few friends were sitting and during a conversation, Palak said my mother isn't scared of anything. After that comment, I couldn't eat. I felt so pressured because it's not like I don't get scared, but her belief that I am strong, what if that breaks some day? So now I always put up a strong front, and I want both my children to believe I am fearless and standing with them forever."
