Her first experience with makeup and fashion comes straight out of her mother’s closet and vanity. Don’t we all use to love draping our mother’s saree or apply her bindi and lipstick? These are the memories close to every girl’s heart as even growing up, we all look for the moments when we can take clothes from our mother’s closet. However, the times are a little changed now, as the kids are getting more advanced, and they will never understand the feeling of sharing things that their mother use. Now every girl wants to have everything of their own, from clothes to vanity. Television world’s real Prerna Sharma, Shweta Tiwari’s daughter, Palak Tiwari has become a social media sensation and has lots of wishes to fulfil. Shweta Tiwari’s life has been a roller-coaster ride. Marking her magnificent entry into our hearts with her debut show, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, she made us feel a part of all the personal turmoil she has ever faced. From divorcing her first husband, Raja Chaudhary after seven years of marriage to separating with her second husband, Abhinav Kohli because of domestic violence, Shweta never had a smooth personal love life. The only constant person in her life that has supported her and has been like a backbone to her is her daughter, Palak Tiwari. Shweta was 19-years-old when Palak came into her life and has seen her mother go through all her personal battles gracefully. Everyone, who has been a fan of Shweta Tiwari, has seen Palak grow, and turn into a fashionista. Palak’s social media handle is proof of her love for fashion and makeup, and especially how good she is with all this. Well, her mommy, Shweta recalls the time, when her fashionista daughter bought makeup worth 1 lakh 80 thousand.
Recently, during a chat session with Pinkvilla, Shweta Tiwari recalled the time when her daughter, Palak went on shopping for her 16th Birthday and shopped makeup worth Rs. 1 lakh 80 thousand. Shweta was pregnant with her second child at that time, and this made her immediately decide that she wanted a boy this time. In her words, “On her 16th birthday, she went and shopped for like 1 lac 80 thousand worth of makeup.”
The actress revealed that Palak had bought branded makeup products. Her eyeshadows were worth Rs 7000 and Rs 8000, and that immediate moment she called up her family to announce that she wants a son as she couldn’t afford this much. Shweta added, “Such expensive products, ek ek eyeshadows iske 7-7 hazaar 8-8 hazaar ke…I called my family and said, ‘It’s time! I want a son’ I cannot afford so much. I cannot have another daughter.”
Talking about Palak’s fascination with acting, as she will also make her TV debut in a few years, in the same interview, Palak revealed that she always wanted to be an actor. She said, "Growing up I used to watch a lot of TV and I was fascinated by this woman wearing a saree and dancing. That was one thing that made an impression on me. For the longest time in my life, I did not know my mom is an actress. I had decided to be an actor way before I knew what an actor meant. Then I found out that she is an actor. Earlier for me, I thought every mother comes on TV and it was a normal thing. I did not know any different." Palak also talked about prepping for acting and added, "In terms of acting, I feel like nobody can teach you talent, you can enhance it but you can't just grow talent. So what I try to do is I like to watch shows which have good actors because I feel as an actor, you are so impressionable by the work you watch. And then I see how I would do it differently." Hearing this, Shweta emotionally added, "I have so many videos (of Palak acting). What I do is whenever I am home, I give her scenes and ask her to perform it naturally. She has done such beautiful scenes. Sometimes, I see it I feel so emotional and overwhelmed. I am so proud of her, she is such a good actor."
