Shweta Tiwari had become a household name with her popular show, Kasautii Zindagii Kay. While her professional life is a huge hit, her personal life has seen many downfalls. The actress has dealt with two failed marriages, first with actor, Raja Chaudhary, second with actor, Abhinav Kohli. In both weddings, she became a victim of domestic violence.

While Shweta’s married life has been a mess, the only good thing she got from her two marriages are her kids, Palak and Reyansh. It was on October 8, 2000, that Shweta Tiwari and her ex-husband, Raja Chaudhary had welcomed a baby girl, Palak Tiwari. And later, on November 27, 2016, Shweta and her now estranged husband, Abhinav Kohli had welcomed a baby boy, Reyansh Kohli. Shweta’s two kids have become her world and she can go to any length to safeguard them.
As Shweta Tiwari is in Cape Town for the shoot of her upcoming reality show, Fear Factor: Khatron Ki Khiladi, in a conversation with The Times Of India, she talked about her kids, Palak and Reyansh and the ups and downs of her life. Shweta shared that she connects with her kids virtually and said, “At night, we sleep with our video calling app switched on so that we can see each other every time we wake up. We talk at every opportunity. I talk to my daughter before every stunt and after it to tell her how I have fared.”
Shweta also revealed her son, Reyansh’s not-so-little yet adorable gift demand and added, “My son wants me to get him a hippopotamus, which he calls ‘hippomonatus’ from South Africa to India for him. So, if in an episode I get to meet a hippopotamus, I am going to take him home, because my son wants it.”

Shweta’s estranged husband, Abhinav Kohli had accused her of not letting him meet their son, Reyansh and leaving him alone amidst the pandemic for the shoot. When asked about the same, Shweta refused to talk about her personal life and talked about the ups and downs. She said, “Look, everyone faces some problem in their life. Ups and downs are a part of life. But if you keep your goals, priorities and responsibilities aside and run after those problems or those creating those problems, then you will feel lost in life.”

Sharing that her kids are her priority, Shweta added, “My priority is my kids. I will focus on them and keep working because only that’s going to help me in the long run. I don’t owe any justification or clarification to anyone because I know what’s good for my children. No one knows it better than me. I know how to keep my kids physically and mentally healthy, give them a better life and take care of them.”
Shweta further shared that there is no scope for anyone in her life except her kids. She concluded, “Logon ke sahi ya galat se meri zindagi nahi chal rahi hai. Meri zindagi mere sahi, galat aur jisme mere bachhon ki bhalai hai, uss se chal rahi hai. I am fully dedicated to my kids and my work, which is why I keep working and forging ahead. If people want to forget their responsibilities and problems and make me the centre of their lives, they are most welcome. But meri zindagi mein aur kisi ke liye koi jagah nahi hai siwaai mere bachhon and meri family ke.”
