Talking to Filmfare about his experience of working in Gully Boy and how his father had reacted when he had seen the film, Siddhant said, "The film has been one of the best experiences we've had as a family. The first one was us watching the film for the very first time. And I could see my father in tears. I've never seen my dad like that. This was me seeing his softer side. He was so happy and proud at the Filmfare Awards. In fact, when we were watching the telecast of the awards on TV, we saw that he's in every frame. He was sitting in the second row and you see the camera panning on him so often. I was like 'kya footage mila hai'. He's there more than anyone."
The very handsome, Siddhant Chaturvedi dotes on his dad, and his social media post about him on the occasion of Father's Day is proof enough. On Fathers' Day, Siddhant had taken to his IG handle and had posted a twinning picture with his dad in blue shirts and had written a heartfelt wish in the caption. His caption could be read as "Jaane kaisi Ghadi pehnte hain Papa, Ache-Bure Samay ke saath-saath, Zindagi ka Tajurba aur Tareeka bhi batati hai. #TajurbeWaaliGhadi #CoachChaturvedi #HappyFathersDay."
Once in an interview with Times Now, Siddhant had expressed his excitement over sharing the screen space with the superstar, Ranveer Singh. He had said, "The thing is I'm an actor, he's an actor, you should ask him. He is so amazing. I have no words, I just love him. He's been so warm and so kind, he's like my MC Sher off-screen. There was a role reversal. I used to be like 'baba kaisa hai, kaisa kiya maine.' And he gave me a lot of confidence you know and he's just a beautiful person."
