Siddharth Chaturvedi Reacts To Ananya's Take On His 'Struggle' Comment In 'Call Me Bae', 'It's Cute'

Ananya Panday has been one of the most famous star kids in Bollywood. She debuted in the 2019 film, Student Of The Year 2, and since then, she has starred in several movies like Pati Patni Aur Woh, Gehraiyaan, Dream Girl 2 and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, among others. The actress is known for her beauty, fashion and honest attitude. Ananya has recently stepped into the OTT space with her web series, Call Me Bae. Several scenes from the show are going viral for using viral social media moments with a twist, like recreating Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra's wedding video. Another moment that made heads turn was the use of Siddhant Chaturvedi's famous 'struggle' comment made for Ananya, which became a highlight in the trailer.

Ananya starrer Call Me Bae's trailer follows the life of a girl who turns from a heiress to a hustler. To explain her challenges, the show's makers gave a unique twist to one of Siddhant Chaturvedi's viral comments on Ananya. In the series, we see how a watchman makes the same comment about 'Bae' played by Ananya. In her reply, the latter says:

"Where have I heard this one before?"

The scene went viral online, and recently, Siddhant shared his views on the same in an interview with PTI during the IIFA Awards press conference. The Gully Boy actor said he found this version of his comment in the series funny and cute. Also, he feels happy that the makers thought the line was significant to use. The actor further gave his best wishes to the whole team. In his words:  

"It's funny, it's cute. It's actually a very nice show. I'm glad that they thought that line was important enough to be used. And the show is really doing well. It's trending right now. So, best wishes to the whole team."

Siddharth Chaturvedi made a viral comment on Ananya's struggle in Bollywood when the latter talked about being a guest on KWK 

The popular statement was made by Siddhant when he joined Ananya and a few other Bollywood stars for a roundtable interview with Rajeev Masand in 2019 focusing on newcomers in Bollywood. They discussed their entry into Bollywood, struggles, nepotism and future vision. During the conversation, Ananya shared how, despite being the daughter of Chunky Panday, her journey wasn't easy. To explain her point, she shared that her father never got to appear in Koffee With Karan throughout his career. In reply to her comment, siddhant's statement that went viral was:

"The difference is jahaan humare sapne poore hote hain, wahi inka struggle shuru hota hai."

On the work front, Siddhant Chaturvedi was last seen in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, co-starring Ananya Panday, which received positive reviews. He will next be seen in Yudhra, co-starring Raghav Juyal, Gajraj Rao, Ram Kapoor and more. It will be released on September 20, 2024. The actor also has Dhadak 2 in his kitty. While Ananya Panday is currently seen in Call Me Bae. She will next be seen in CTRL and Shankara.
