Salman Khan, the Bhaijaan of Bollywood, never skips a chance to leave his fans going gaga with his acting skills. Every time his movie hits the theatre, it, without a doubt, feels Eid. Well, Salman's movie, Sikandar is all set to be released this year. While the official release date hasn't been announced yet, the talk about Salman Khan's next big movie has already begun. Reportedly, the movie, which features Rashmika Mandanna, in the lead role, will break the box office records. Ahead of the movie leaving you in awe, let's have a look at the whopping fees of the star cast of the movie, Sikandar.
Salman Khan's movie Sikandar has been directed by AR Murugadoss, while the producer has been Sajid Nadiadwala. The movie will showcase the story of a young man, who challenges the status quo and fights for the rights of common people against corruption. Talking about Salman Khan's salary, reportedly, he will be paid more than half of the film's budget. While the film's budget is Rs. 200 crore, and, Salman will be paid a whopping amount of Rs. 120 crore for his role in the movie, as an actor, including possible profit-sharing arrangements.
As per a report by Filmibeat, Rashmika Mandanna, who is also one of the leads of the movie, will reportedly be paid an amount of Rs. 5 crore, while another actress, Kajal Aggarwal, will receive an amount of Rs. 3 crore. While Sharman Joshi's salary for the movie will reportedly be Rs. 75 lakh, Prateik Babbar will be getting Rs. 60 lakh. Sathyaraj, known for his role as 'Katappa' in Baahubali, will allegedly have a salary of Rs. 50 lakh for his performance.
A special event was held in Mumbai on March 24, 2025, which was graced by the star cast of the upcoming movie, Sikandar. At the event, Salman was asked about the box office prediction of the movie. To this, the actor stated that be it any festival, Eid, New Year, Diwali, or non-festival, it's all about the love of people that makes the movies stand out. He further mentioned that, be it a good film or a bad film, it always grosses Rs. 100 crore, and this budget was in the past. He said:
"Eid, Diwali, New Year, festive, non-festive, it’s the love of the people and picture achi ho ya buri ho, wo sau toh paar kara hi dete hain. Rs 100 crore bohot pehle ki baat hain."
At the same event, Salman Khan was asked about the constant gossip about his age difference with Rashmika Mandanna in the film. To this, Salman added that the heroine's father has no issues in that matter, and the actress will be getting married and having kids, and then she would possibly need the permission of her husband. Salman said:
