Festivals play a vital role in our lives as it is a medium to share happiness with our loved ones. When the past year 2020 had brought so much gloom and negativity in our lives, all we hope is to see a brighter year in 2021. And the first festival of the year is always important as it begins the year on a happy note and brings in a lot of hopes. Known by different names in different regions, Lohri, Pongal, Makar Sankranti and Bihu are not only a special time for the farmers, but these festivals are also known to bring prosperity, peace and happiness in an individual’s life. Our social media handles are filled with adorable wishes from our favourite celebs and the one wish which stood apart is from Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar’s daughter, Sitara Ghattamaneni. Just like her star parents, this little munchkin too holds a huge fan base and is one of the most popular celebrity kids. From dancing, singing and whatnot, Sitara is a performer and a star in the making.
Sitara has her own Instagram handle, which is filled with pictures and videos of her and her family. A few hours back, Sitara took to her IG handle and shared an adorable video of herself. In the video, the little wonder looked beautiful in her traditional attire as she wished everyone on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. Sitara captioned the video as “Happy Sankranti! Sending love and warm hugs to everybody reading this! May your day be as lovely as the kites in the sky!” On the video, Sitara’s mommy, Namrata commented, “Happy happy Sankranthi my dearest… many blessings as always.” Sitara’s maasi and actress, Shilpa Shirodkar too commented on the video and wrote, “Happy Makar Sankranti my baby… til gul naki kha ok.” Namrata reposted Sitara’s video on her IG handle too.
Sitara is quite active on social media and loves sharing glimpses of her personal life. On October 9, 2020, she had taken to her IG handle and had shared a picture of her early Diwali gift from her mommy, Namrata. It was a beautiful ring with Sai Baba’s image on it. Sitara had captioned the picture as “My Diwali gift came early!! It’s a Saibaba ring. My Amma says I should wear this forever... her mum gave her one when she was 8 and she still wears it, now it’s my turn. On International Girl Child Day, i.e., October 11, 2020, Namrata had shared a beautiful selfie with her baby girl, Sitara. Expressing how proud she is of her daughter, Namrata had written, “Girls symbolise strength, courage, determination, sacrifice, love and commitment. Give them wings to achieve their dreams!! Empowering them is empowering your future! Let’s create an equal world for our daughters to grow! Be proud of your girl child!! I’m more than proud of mine.”
Some time ago, Namrata had shared an adorable throwback picture of her kids from the time when they were babies. Baby Sitara had looked like a mushball in her pink dress, lying on the bed, and her handsome brother, Gautam, had lovingly caressed his little sister's cheeks, lying beside her and smiling for the camera. Along with the picture, Namrata had written, "Fill your life with experiences, not things.
