Smriti Khanna Welcomes Her Second Child, Shares How Anayka's Wish To Be A Big Sister Came True

Smriti Khanna and Gautam Gupta are among the most loved TV celebrity couples. The duo met while shooting for the show, Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi. Soon, they fell in love and started dating, and in 2017, the duo tied the knot in a grand wedding ceremony. A few years later, in 2020, Gautam and Smriti welcomed their first baby girl, Anayka Gupta. Now, the family of three has turned four as Smriti and Gautam welcomed a baby girl.

Smriti Khana welcomes another baby girl

Smriti Khanna is one of the most active actresses on social media who keeps updating her fans with her life. On the personal front, the actress welcomed a baby girl on September 5, 2024, and, taking to her IG handle, shared the good news with all her fans. In the picture, Smriti and Gautam's elder daughter, Anayka, is holding her newborn sister on her lap. Anayka looked smitten by her sister and looked at her with so much love that it even melted our hearts.

Smriti also shared that Anayka wanted a baby sister, and her wish finally came true. She even added that their second daughter has completed their family, and they can't wait to experience life with the little one. In the photo, Anayka was dressed in an aqua-hued dress while the newborn was wrapped in an off-white-toned cloth and a creme-hued binnie. Sharing the picture, Smriti said:

"Anayka’s wish for a little sister, her Gudiya, has come true, and our family is now complete. 05.09.2024."

On April 17, 2024, Smriti Khanna took to her Instagram handle and posted a couple of pictures. In a post that was sure to pique the interest of her fans, Smriti revealed that she is soon going to welcome her second child. The pictures captured the second-time mommy-to-be in a radiant glow, dressed in a fitted baby pink dress with sequinned work on the bodice and a thigh-high slit. Her daughter, Anayka, was seen hugging the baby bump, while Smriti's husband, Gautam, gave her a side hug from behind.

A few weeks later, the family shared their first picture from the labour room, with Gautam and their newborn, revealing the name of their daughter.
