Every woman's dream is to nurture a little doll just like her! Her world completes, the days she holds her little angel in her arms. Since then, she strives on to be a better version of herself for her little girl. She teaches her all the lesson of life and hopes that her baby girl turns into one strong woman. And television actress, Smriti Khanna also prayed to become a mother of a baby girl, and in April 2020, God had answered all her prayers with a little girl. Smriti Khanna and Gautam Gupta had embarked the journey of parenthood in April 2020 with the arrival of their baby girl. While everything was going smooth in Smriti's pregnancy, the pandemic ruined a lot of fun. Nevertheless, the actress had kept her focus on the positive aspect of life. Ever since her baby girl's birth, Smriti is sharing snippets of her mommy life on her Instagram handle. She had even made a an Instagram account for her daughter, Anayka Gupta and her pooch, Lucas Gupta.
On June 15, 2020, Smriti's little angel completed two-months. The adorable mommy took to her Instagram handle and posted a picture with her baby girl. In the picture, we can see Smriti holding her little doll in her arms. The mother-daughter duo can be seen twinning in matching pink-colour headband and Minnie mouse t-shirt. Alongside the picture, Smriti wrote, "2 months old today.#twinning Surround yourself with positive energy .. your mental wellbeing, your success, and your happiness depends on it!" Recently, in an interview with The Times of India, Smriti had talked about weight loss and postpartum depression. She had shared, “I have realised that even if you speak good on social media and educate people about pregnancy and mother, haters will still troll you. I felt that people did not discuss much about pregnancy, weight issues, breastfeeding and I feel these topics should come out openly in our society because there are so many myths and women struggle all their life to lose weight. There are so many times that this becomes a matter of depression for them. They stop stepping out because they are not looking a certain way or not fitting into their dress. Some women are scared to get pregnant. There is postpartum depression and it is a big thing and it is not spoken in India." In an earlier interview with SpotboyE, Smriti had talked about being a mommy and had said, "Our sleepless nights have begun (laughs). However, I’m getting habituated to it. The problem is that due to this lockdown, we don't have any help around us plus we don’t want to risk it by calling someone."
