Inside Sonakshi Sinha's Artistic Floor At Her Father, Shatrughan's Residence, 'Ramayana' In Juhu

Sonakshi Sinha has a dedicated floor in her daddy, Shatrughan Sinha's opulent legacy house, named after the epic mythological tale, Ramayana. A few years ago, she gave it a complete makeover, based on her choice and personality, with the help of the art director and interior designer, Rupin Suchak. Following this, although the actress purchased a lavish abode in Juhu, Mumbai, she uses it for her shoots, chilling and more. Not only this, now, Sonakshi has been living with her husband, Zaheer Iqbal at their abode in Mumbai. However, here is a sneak peek into Sonakshi's well-decorated floor in Ramayana. 

A peak inside Shatrughan Sinha’s Ramayana

Veteran actor, Shatrughan Sinha's entire family reside in the his multi-storied building, Ramayana. He purchased the grand residence in one of Juhu's most posh areas in 1972. Each family member occupies the building on each of its floors, and a private lift accompanies it. Talking about the same, Sonakshi once, in an interview, hilariously revealed:

"Me and my mother (Poonam Sinha) are outsiders in our house as my father and his three brothers are named - Ram, Laxman, Bharat, and my father Shatrughan. My brothers are Luv and Kush. So, Ramayana seemed like an apt name for our residence but at times we also get to witness Mahabharat inside Ramayan."

Shatrughan's Ramayana is indeed a luxurious mansion with multiple floors with huge windows and verandas. One look from the outside simply explains the lavish lifestyle the residents have. The house's name is written in big Hindi letters outside the building. Recently, for Sonakshi's wedding with Zaheer Iqbal, the Ramayana was illuminated with starry lights all over the building, making it look simply opulent. We witnessed the same in a few stunning glimpses shared by the paps.

Soon after entering Sonakshi Sinha's floor, it opens doors to a blend of modern architecture and classic warm interiors. The cosy living area is well-decorated with subtle tones and chic elements. After a small corridor, we get inside a living space closely guarded by a sliding door featuring stained glasses. Upon entering the living room, we spotted soft-toned sofas in blue hues, minimal furniture like a side corner table with flower vases, metal hanging lights, paintings and other decorative pieces.

Connected to the living room is Sonakshi's pantry-style kitchen. With an insight into her house, we learned how she prefers a minimalist approach to life. Similarly, the space was decorated with neon lights alongside a pop-up window in an arched form. The window attached to a small table also boasts a seating area for two, which in turn enhanced the vintage charm of the place with a modern blend.

Sonakshi's grand bedroom is separated by a sliding door with the study area

Coming to Sonakshi's grand bedroom is simply a reflection of her personality and style. The bedroom has a geometric patterned backdrop along with soft beige tones to calm the actress after a tiring day. A minimally decorated white-hued bed matches a quick-hand wardrobe just behind it. A cute side table and a rustic bed light splash new features to this part of her home.

Sonakshi's bedroom in her father's residence is also attached to a small in-build office for her quick meetings and work. The place features ceiling-to-floor touching glass windows with long curtains, giving an aesthetic feeling to the room. Moreover, the subtle tones of the space perfectly matched the vibe of Sonakshi's bedroom. Herein, we can spot a utility table with a comfy chair alongside a few other elements.

Shatrughan Sinha's daughter, Sonakshi, is indeed a fashion icon, and proof of this is often found in her public appearances. Thus, the place has been meticulously redecorated with rich textures and geometric shapes. Subtle lighting in the entire room, along with a well-compartmentalised dressing table, a cupboard, a rug, and other elements, made the space completely multifunctional.

Sonakshi's well-equipped gym and a sprawling marbled- terrace

Finally, Sonakshi's floor in her father's Ramayana also has an equipped gym so that the actress can always be in healthy shape. It seems to be one of the most cherished spaces in her home, as she keeps dropping glimpses of it. From treadmills to stability maintenance chairs, the place has almost all the equipment, making it the perfect place to shed weight right at home. Not only this, but above her floor is a sprawling terrace that also used to become a playtime place for the actress with her fur baby.
