Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya, who met two years ago, decided to take their love to the next level on a day of great significance-August 8, 2024. This auspicious day marked the beginning of a new phase in their lives as they got engaged. Their happiness was palpable, radiating from their smiles and the sparkle in their eyes. For those who may not know, Naga Chaitanya was previously married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu, but their love story took a different turn after four years of marital bliss.
On August 19, 2024, the shutterbugs spotted Sobhita Dhulipala for the first time post her engagement with Naga Chaitanya. For the night, the diva was a vision in a striking blue-hued denim jumpsuit with tie-up detailing on the waist. She accessorised her look with a watch, diamond earrings, and a luxurious diamond engagement ring. Her loose curls and radiant smile added to her fresh and captivating appearance.

As Sobhita was posing for the cameras, she proudly flaunted her engagement ring. And, oh boy, it was a sight to behold. The ring, a symbol of their love, was a masterpiece of elegance, featuring a round solitaire diamond on a sleek band.

Taking to X, Nagarjuna Akkineni dropped two pictures from Chaitanya and Sobhita's intimate engagement ceremony and penned a beautiful note along with it. The loving father shared the details of the duo's engagement, which took place at 9:42 am and also welcomed Sobhita into their family. He wished the couple a lifetime of love and happiness and wrote:
"We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 am!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless! 8.8.8 A beginning of infinite love."

For her engagement, Sobhita expressed her desire to honour her traditional roots. To bring this vision to life, she collaborated with the renowned designer, Manish Malhotra. The fabric of her engagement saree, sourced from the weaving communities of Andhra Pradesh, was a testament to this cultural connection. Sobhita's Uppada silk drapes, in the golden blush colour of a traditional temple flower, were a beautiful representation of this traditional aspect.
