According to a recent report by Pinkvilla, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got engaged in an intimate traditional ceremony that paid respect to the Telugu culture. The Nischitaardham (engagement) ceremony was held in Naga Chaitanya's Hyderabad residence and was attended by Nagarjuna and Lakshmi Daggubati. Chaitanya's stepmother, Amala Akkineni, and his half-brother, Akhil, were also present at the engagement ceremony, along with Sobhita's parents.

If the same report is to go by, the engagement ceremony began with a pooja, followed by a lavish vegetarian lunch from Andhra cuisine. After the same, Nagarjuna reportedly hosted a lavish dinner in celebration of this joyous event. For the unversed, Nagarjuna was the one to announce Sobhita and Naga Chaitanya's engagement.
Recently, some unseen photos of the newly engaged couple, Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala made rounds on social media. In one of the photos, the couple was looking so in love as they adorably posed for the camera while flaunting their brightest smiles. In the photo, we got a glimpse of Sobhita's huge engagement ring, which was shining brightly on her finger. The huge ring was a round-cut diamond, and its charm was increased with the addition of the actress' traditional look.

Sobhita opted for Manish Malhotra ensemble for her engagement ceremony. In some of her solo photos, Sobhita looked like a dream as she posed candidly for the frames. Naga Chaitanya's solo photos also made rounds online, and the actor looked handsome in his soft-toned engagement ensemble.
Sobhita Dhulipala doned a blush-pink-toned Uppada silk saree from the shelves of Manish Malhotra for her engagement. The half-saree was made with touches of Telugu culture, including its colour and inspiration. Sobhita's engagement saree's colours were that of the flowers like Kanakaambaram and lotus. For the unversed, Kanakaambaram is a flower worn by the women of Andhra Pradesh. Not only this, but the saree's design was also inspired by the paintings of the iconic Telugu artist, Bapu.

Sobhita Dhulipala donned a double-layered kundan neckpiece along with a choker with the addition of matching kundan earrings that were tied up with her gajra-adroned braided hair. For the day, the actress also wore a classic Jada (hair accessory) from Manish Malhotra's collection, which was made of kundan and pearls.
